dude my 03 wrx has 99xxx and is putting down 208whp with stock motor, stock turbo,k&n typhoon, grimmspeed lightend crank pulley cobb accessport and a hks hi-power
The thing about numbers is that they're JUST numbers. There are too many variables, including the type of dyno and ambient air temp etc., that will have an affect on what numbers your car will put down.
2.5 swap w/the 2.0 head? you're better off doing the 2.2l stroke fyi. and you're doing the version 6 gears for your bugeye? you're better off putting money into the MFactory, or STI swap
my bugeye is getting a whole tranny rebuild with the STi V.6 RA gearset because 2nd gear shattered while downshifting at a lazy 25-30 mph and before i could even engage the clutch. Fucking "glass box!" Upgrade, Upgrade, Upgrade.
@ddr85 DON'T TELL SUBARU!! They'll say you abused the gear box.... that is the reason i will not buy a WRX unless it's already got a 6 speed or upgraded gears.
VVVV no two motors are the same i just got mine tuned here in cali from hb speed my numbers were 201hp/203tq to the wheels with 123,xxx miles on the car. my set up as is megan catless up pipe, hks downpipe magnaflow 3' in exhaust and a aem cold air intake. they said i should be pulling more with the mods i have but my car is getting tired with those miles! but to the fellow bugeye owner great car and great numbers!
i got 178 whp 179 tq on my 02 subi im going same set up minus the carback im keeping it stock but im adding pulstar plugs and a perrin pully .....what numbers will i see my car got 75k
Nice bugeye.. Love the wheels. Little on the lower side for protuned stage 2, but definately respectable for 100k + miles. When u do your 2.5 swap be sure to go with at least an 18G and take it easy on that tranny!

227 wheel horsepower. Do some drivetrain hp loss calculations and the engine is in the range of 280 to 300 horsepower

Nothing really special, my engine is getting a little tired. I am the 4th owner, and it just rolled over 100k.
I am currently building a 2.5 bottom end to swap into it.
