we don't know what happened, you can't say the jockey is terrible cuz he fell the strange way. Of course this may be because he lost hes balance but why? We don't know and we shouldn't judge.

some apprentice jockeys are terrible but probert is not one of them as hes won on some big prices n i think he deserves credit for that

how can you say thats terrible jockey skills ?? he is top apprentice and you kind of need serious skills to be that type of a jockey cause it isnt easy ... so ease up on your criticism !!!!

that horse didn't do anything wrong :P believe me, if my little niece can stay on an ex-racehorse that does pigroots as he gallops, then you'd think a jockey could stay on? clever horse saw an exit and went for it, I can understand that! he didn't even shy or stargaze though so why did the jockey get thrown?

I've seen Frankie Dettori, Keiren Fallon, Mick Kinane, Tony McCoy and Prince Charles get unseated unceremoniously, but no one says they have "terrible jockey skills". I'd like to see the bod who listed this vid on YT try to stay on at the pony club gymkhana if his mount behaves like this!

@anotherblonde the horse done nothing wrong, david probert just lost his balance, a bad error on his part, but i do agree even the best can make a mistake, probert is certainly not the worst jockey ive ever seen, i would have been slting him if i had backed this horse though, there realy was no excuse for falling off

once my friends horse was in first place and in my country the exit is on the turning before the final streatch .. hes horse did a 180 and bolted for the exist .. poor guy didnt get first place

the slip rail was open on the left any1 who rides knows that the horse will bolt for the gap! silly err from a bloke who is probably race day staff not full time tho probs! bad man!
