saw this on tour in american back in march 2008, and it was, at the time, the most fun I have ever had in a long time ! and when my musical theatre dance class did a dance recital and we had to sing and dance to four songs from hairspray and they chose me to be Tracy in Good Morning Baltimore and in You Can't Stop the Beat, I was so happy ! Hairspray was, and is one of my favorite musicals of all time and getting to perform it was a blast!

Tony Timberlake (currently playing Wilbur) is so fantastic in this musical! We went to see a show last Saturday and sat on the second row in the stalls, which was superb, expecially at the moment when Wilbur and Edna had to stop playing for a sec because they where stuck in a laugh... Really love the actors and their voices!!! (way better than the recording, with the American cast...)

Can someone please answer me a question... it might sounds stupid to ask but - if someone saw a preview of a West End musical, lets take this show for example, if anybody saw the show in its preview run in 2007 - would someone expect to see a souvenir brochure/or program at a preview.

There should be a program at any show, but it really depends on how early the preview is being shown in comparisant to the release date. I hope that makes sense.
