  • this is drifting? don`t think so but nice car any way

  • jags are def nice, but subaru is unmatched for the snow..

  • This is stock 2.5L AWD 2008 X-Type exhaust

  • what exhaust do you have?

  • are you sure this is an x-type it looks like an xj

  • @hyvernick I wish it was, but it is nice anyway :)

  • @hyvernick Absolutely an X-type Its an All wheel drive I have one

  • @verceti8668 thank you so much for your help bud!i called jaguar and they told me that on this year of the x-type the transmission is sealed.i kept wondering where the dip stick was for the tranny fluid check lol.i have no record of anything on the car other then the oil changes.obviousally with high end luxury cars you got to go with full synthetic.i went with this pennzoil ultra platinium and he said i could go 5,000 miles untill next oil change, but i rather just get it done at every 3,000.

  • @wildman261 be careful of this!!!!!!!!!!!! there is no dipstick, but the fluid will leak out and will need to be changed. please, for the love of your car change your transfer case fluid and your transmission fluid. It isn't that hard, but it neeeeeeeeeds to be done

  • @verceti8668 i just bought a 2002 jaguar x-type sport 2.5 v6 and fricken love the car man and the navigation system with it,sure turns alot of heads lol.but my qestion to you is,when i am driving and hit about between 45 and 50 mph when it shift i think into 4th gear it will jerk and then it will be fine?do you know what that may be?computer?its a automatic with only 100,000 miles on it.and also the driver side power seat stopped working.fuze?

  • @wildman261 Not sure what may be wrong with gear box, but it is worth to take it to official service. The transmission is supposed to have oil changed every 40k miles. Do you have a record of that? Regarding the seat - most likely the fuse, but yet again - you gotta know where to look for it. It is a complicated car for service, so make sure you or your mechanic knows what they are doing. Cheers, mate!

  • @Verceti8668 jaguarforums will save you headaches... so many headaches

  • Watch out for that tranny dude, good cars delicate trannys'.

  • @agustealo

Thanks man! I actually had it repainted one month ago (paid by warranty), because there was some rust just above license plate, where the lamp is. Dealer said the chrome plate with JAGUAR letters was pressed too hard when installed and damaged the paint. Well, thanks goodness they paid for repair :)

  • @Verceti8668 for the money these cars cost, you would think you should own it with no worries. I'm on my fourth Jag after giving up on Mercedes. Damn they are equally bad, never had engine issues though but after I hit over 50,000 mls I automatically start worrying.

Might have to go back to BMW... just solid!

  • @agustealo I am at 42k miles and the car feels solid otherwise. Repair guy at dealer told me these cars (X-Type) never have serious problems until 150k miles. My ex-boss had a BMW and he spent more time repairing it than driving :D

  • @agustealo BTW, I heard that XF and new XJ are much better in reliability then old XJ and S-Type. I think XF is my next car :)
