Deep Purple is the one band that I keep waiting to make a come-back, be renewed cool and all, be taken up by a new, younger crowd, but fuck. In truth i dread it, i pray it won't happen. No one can do them justice, no cover, no up=date. They are what they are, dinosaurs if you wish, but still true to their sound, their energy, everything.
