@Clin10 Thanks for your comment. I was a bit worried when the man was trying to get the swan to back away as I know they can defend themselves very vigorously and cause serious injury. I think this was an old bird.

So glad to see the swan made its way safely back to the lake.

On the other hand, if it had in fact been hit by car, at least you knew what to cook for dinner that night!

Yes, it would have made quite a few servings. By the way, no chance if it was in the UK. By some antiquated and weird tradition, all UK swans are the property of the Queen.
