IS350 0-60 is about 5.5s. Everybody gets the 5.1 for the 2007 from Car & Driver's run. They are the ONLY ONE to rate the IS350 at anything below 5.5s. This is not the case. The 0-60 time is 5.5s. The same as the 2006. The 2007 IS350 only adds the ability to kill the traction control. There is no change to anything. Hence if the 2006 is 5.5s so is the 2007.

You sure talk like you know your stuff but you fail in that regard. Road and Track got the IS350 at 4.9s 0-60 and 13.5 1/4mile STOCK. Also, the IS350 dynos stock at 265-270rwhp which is equivilent to 320-325bhp meaning the motor is underated or the car is extremely efficient.

I ran my IS350 on an Iphone style Gtech and without any spectacular launch I got 4.9 even to 60. The 1/4 mile was 13.4 and the wheel horsepower was 255. Sounds about dead on with what everyone else is experiencing.

If you keep your tire pressure high, and launch it with some sticky tires you can do 4.7 sec 0-60 and 13.2~ 13.3 sec quarter mile.

What I said was fact garnered from looking into the car years back. The facts: Most road tests put it in the 5.5s range. One magazine came in at 5.1s. You go with the majority. As for "many" getting into the high 4's, great. What conditions? Mods? Weight Reduction? Tires? Track or street? Timing? Grow up. It's a 3,500 lb car with 300HP. Big deal.

13 seconds stock is not slow. considering that the 2007 Z runs 13.3 average and the 911 runs 13.0 flat, the C5 runs 13.2 to 13.6, I would say for stock it does very well.

Oh, that explain why it was faster, I have an IS 350 too but with all the equipment. It's still possible to increase the performace but it's already fast enough. Also the weight mostly spoils the performance but that was a good run since your IS was prepped up.

I should have mentioned that my IS was much better prepped. I was using very low profile Hoosier R6's, and removed all the "easy" weight (spare tire, passenger seat, owner's manual, etc.). I also skipped breakfast and had a huge "restroom break" before the run. :)
