  • Mom used to play LPs to keep me & my kid-bro in check during lunch... and Jim Reeves used to be most frequently played... That's how it has remained stuck in our memories some three decades later...

    I still love this song, and I'm 15. My grandpa had sung a lot of my favorite songs when my mom and her sisters were little.

  • I have been a fan of Jim Reeves since forever. He was my dad's favorite singer and we had plenty of albums to listen.

  • Gentleman Jim died July 31st, 1964. Sadly he was just 10 minutes from his destination of Nashville.

  • My parents have all of Jim's records, and hearing this brings back good childhood memories. Jim died the year I was born, but he is timeless.
