OK um I'm not trying to troll or say anything bad but the "popshotting" that you did was a quick scope a pop shot is when you shoot before black scoping which means when you zoom in you still see the ridicules and a black shot is when the whole screen goes black. and you didn't quick scope the title is "MW3 Quick Scoping Tutorial", but you didn't quick scope once.

not only is this a good quickscoping tutorial, it is also a very well done editing video. looks very professional. if you did this yourself, you've got good editing talent. you should make tutorials in other things as well.

Okay, I play competitive quickscoping, and pop shotting is when you dont get to see your crosshairs. Its what we call a quarter scope in MW2

@kewlwap If you never see the inside of a scope and still shooting accurate it is a popshot. Though it is a quickscope in every sense it is more unreliable due to the fact your scoping in with the bare minimum. so unless you are extremely good at it(which is possible) scoping in a little is more reliable especially if your panicking during a 5 man.

At the start of MW3 you can use two really good guns the L118A and the Barret and later on you unlock the MSR which is the best in my opinion. As for sensitivity start on whatever feels right like maybe a six and then work your way up I have been quick scoping for a while and my favourite is 8

@intentwarrior go in a lobby and snipe without quickdraw. You get destroyed by everyone. It worked well in BLops because it was around a 4shot kill. But in a game where its around a 2shot kill you have no time at all to pull up your scope. Steady aim doesnt make it OP either, i use steady aim on my groundwar class because it helps if someone is close up so i can noscope, it really doesnt effect quickscoping at all.

how would quick scoping be overpowered and/or cheating, you are shooting 1 bullet as apposed to 30 from an smg or assault rifle. It isn't cheating OR overpowered its fun because its in a video game. The whole point of it is to have fun, not to have wars over weapons.

@allshallperish35 Headshots my friend, headshots. I don't really hit marker with the MSR much, but I get headshots probably half my kills. That being said I play on PC and not console, console has aim assist which pulls your crosshairs towards your target, so it's probably harder to headshot on console.

How I got good was , I started out almost hardscoping, but drag scoping. Of course you can try to black scope when there are two feet away or coming at you, but when they are far away or not looking at you take 2-3 seconds to aim down the scope and line up. I still prefer to look in my scope just enough so that I can hold my breath. If you slowly use quicker scoping in, it will be like instinct when your black scoping and such. But black scoping sucks. lol

@Malice718917 It will take many matches and a lot of deaths. Don't get frustrated. The biggest tip I can give is to practice lining up the guy in the crosshair before you zoom in. Even if you're slow and you die, at least you practiced lining it up. Now, about 2 months later, I honestly go 2:1 or 3:1 in TDM and FFA without really having to try too hard.

How is it not an exploit? Without the auto aim this would not be possible. All you have to do which is like you said, keep the opponent within the inner most ring which also happens to be where the auto aim is effective and takes over. You may think this is justified but in reality its something that needs to be addressed by IW and has not since COD4. Lets remove auto aim from sniper rifles and then have you try this, yeah?

I just had to add one thing that I found out recently, after a long time of dying continuously. In order to drag scope effectively I always try to keep the enemy within the left and right crosshairs, so that I can drag the scope into their location. Otherwise it seems to far for me to compensate for.

i find a very good way to learn how to quick scope is to buy a sniper in survival mode, until the juggernauts come cos theyre to quick for beginners.
