Her tumbling was good.  But what tripped her up here, ironically, was her dance moves on both floor and beam. She didn't get full amplitude on her split jumps on beam and was denied full credit for some of those moves. And her dance moves here, especially her turn,s were not completely rotated and precisely landed. A very wierd turn of events.

This is going to sound horrible, but her double pike was just ok..... I mean, there was good form and all, but the landing was pretty bad actually. If you slow it down or pause at the right time, you see that she actually lands with her chest touching her knees... so yeah. And I think the commentators gave it just a smidge more credit than it deserved because it was, "the last tumbling pass that she will ever compete at the olympic games."

On beam,she should only awared a 9.5sv because her 'leap' and acrobatic skills' angle are not correct.

On the fx, she did a 1.5tuck jump instead of doing a double twist tuck jump.Therefore,she should ONLY awarded a sv of 9.7!

Khorkina was always one of the most OVERrated

gymnast. She was NOT UNDERSCORED on vault because she actually did not stuck on her landing and she separate her legs HUGELY in the air and before the landing.

Her bar rountine was TERRIBLE as well since she obviously made a mistake on the low bar.

Comparing the score of lepnnc who did a def and double double dismount,khorkina's routine was worser but getting a higher score.

Pulling off your teams silver medal because you thought you deserved Gold when she was the one who made mistakes was so wrong. Other teams would have loved a team silver. They got what they deserved. Then theres her comments and actions in Athens. I have been done with her since. I thought an appreciation of a team bronze changed their outlook. I was wrong after AA.

This performance is GRAND. It's THE moment in Women's gymnastics, but, I feel a little air of tragedy watching it. Svetlana never won the All-Around Gold. Her life would be more complete if she had. I think.

Very true. She stuck her vault and got a 9.462. Where did they find .45 in deductions?

Also, Carly was overscored on floor. She got almost the same score Ponor got in EF. Catalina was much cleaner. If Patterson had been scored correctly on floor, Khorkina would have won.

hi macassar88 I think Khorkina was overscored on vault too. I think they had to deduct .1 for a leg separation even when it was on tuck position on the air and another .2 because she did not stay 3 seconds on the landing with the hands up, that means that that wasnt consider a stick. She had to get a 9.7 on vault and a 9.75 on bars, on bars they also deuducted her a .025 and I dont know from where, on the low bar she had a .1 deduction and .15 in the landing dismount, she was overscored on beam

I also believe she was a little underscored on bars but just a little bit, On beam she was overscored because the routin does not start out of 10.0 Yeah on beam they gave her too much and on floor she needed more difficult passes. I think the olympic champion is Pavlova her teammate and silver for Carly and bronze for Khorkina.

The judges were crazy, they also gave Alexei Nemov a low score on bar finals and the crowd wasnt showing satisfaction for over ten minutes. This Olympics were aweful, too many disapointments just because of the judges.
