@ wtfman591 If you think candy is a useless good, you obviously don't have any kids! Seriously tho,Easter is more about kids and teaching them about the resurrection. If it takes eggs, candy and a cute little bunny to do it, so be it. What's the harm? It's hard to explain the gory details of crucifixion to a three year old. And for your personal insight, Paganism and Satanism are different beliefs, and not the mandated religion of any corporation I have heard of. Which one do you speak of?
I find it no accident that the Pagan ritual was assimilated into Christianity. The Lord Works in mysterious ways! After all, who do you think created all that is worshiped by Pagans? Fire, water, earth, etc.. If it brings us all together for whatever reason, it cant be bad right?
@rhinomad I agree. I think the beauty of all Holidays is that they relate to Pagans, Christians, and Secularists. I happen to believe my Goddess made that fire, water, and earth. However, arguing about it isn't as important as us all being able to celebrate charity, love and joy together

Christ died on a Wednesday was buried at sunset and rose on Saturday night (sunset) That is 3 days and 3 nights. How do u get 3 days and 3 nights from friday at 3 pm till early Sunday morning?
@Truthsabre777 Jewish days are 24 hr periods. The third day and night would have been Sunday because the day starts at 12:00 on Sunday AM and ends at 11:59 Sunday PM. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It doesn't make much sense to "western" time norms, but that's the world Christ and his disciples lived in. Hope it helps to clear things up.
