I'm really hoping atleast one person replies. make the long story short. I just got 2 macbook pros from 07'. And Put new HD's in both of them too! I've been trying continuously to install an OS into them. I've downloaded the Leopard/Tiger/Lion and some will boot but never go to the language selection. I'm wondering If I do this will I have a better chance? I dont know if its my burner on my macbook or what, I'm burning the dmgs and still failure. And help would be appreciated!
Hey, thanks for the vid. Now, i did as you did to create à full bootable usb, after having redownloaded OS X from mac store. My problem is that I get an error 206 at the end of the restoration. I don't know why! The usb is 8gb. Can you help?
Nice video....But im having a problem. I did this already. However, instead of erasing the hard drive, i just re-install lion. Here is the problem....I want to do it again and this time erase the hard drive completely, but i've tried to do it following the steps presented in this video and nothing works. when i clic on the recovery hd, it just keep loading for ever... If u can help me with that it would be great........^____^
@wwcomputerrepair i don't know if i can unless i pay for it, it came on my mac when i bought it so.... (i cnt even download it it says installed) there is no other way?
@wwcomputerrepair i wiped macbook air harddrive completely and installed win7 on it, but i want osx back. i tried booting the lion dvd using an external dvd drive but it wouldnt boot. x)
@wwcomputerrepair thanx i tried, but the usb wouldnt boot. i guess i did something wrong when creating the usb. i think it might be because it was FAT32 and i just dragged the osx files over in windows.
if i reinstall lion will it be as if i have just bought the mac

MegaCoreMagnetizer 4 months ago
@MegaCoreMagnetizer thats because the C key boots CD's or DVD's. Did you use time machine or did you clone it?

@MegaCoreMagnetizer You will need to burn the contents of the disk image to a dvd or flash drive. Not the disk image itself.
