You can't expect Beckham to shine within a team of poor players because he needs support from the team and he is all about his amazing passes. LA Galaxy look all over the place and Beckham just acts as a loner cause he has no confidence in the team. When playing for England he trusts them because they're great players and plays very differently.

Why keepers dont save? Becouse wall secures one corner of goal and goalkeeper another one. If goalie would stand behind the wall to cover Becks fav corner than it would be eaaasy to score in other corner wich would be not secured. Goalies are defenseless :)

Yeah, very true - it did look a lot like the unbelievable free kick he scored against Greece. But that was actually in a World-Cup Qualifying match in October 2001. I remember that free kick perfectly - because, amazingly enough (while living down in Argentina) that was the very FIRST TIME I ever actually watched Beckham in a game!

Good first goal but he should have been closed down. No.6 was just standing there doing sweet f.a. Go to the ball dips*it! Close down the angles and put him under some pressure. He basically stood there and said 'Okay cross it, it ain't my problem.' Tell you something, that guy won't be playing in the Prem any time soon.

guys i went to watch him and becks is not that good, he has an incredible foot though!! oh and freaking that was the best RSL game ever, it was intense!!! all the time! They are getting good!

Galaxy is a horrible team OMG... the keeper has slippery hands... the defenders fail to mark anyone... the midfield is pathetic ... donovan wasted too many chances.. and Beckham his goals seemed ordinary compared to his previous ones

You are right about the keeper. However, Beckham is playing with ordinary athletes. Athletes that are not as passionate about the game. Until the Americans can develop a passion, display a personality, develop character, this sport will be for bottom feeders.
