i'm brasilian and the bed thing is a custom but this guy's house is disgusting and cockroaches only exist in a badly kept house so karl is giving the worst impressions of brasil to a foreigner and the christ statue was a gift from the french so when he says us brasilians need to make it better.... @supahsnuffy well the same would always apply so you would give them your room, your bed but you would try your hardest to make your room acceptable not like celso ;) but yh sometimes if they bring their children or you already have guests in your room then you would always give them the next best room! :)

I'm Brazilian and what Celso said is not a tradition here. You might offer your bed if you don't have a guest bedroom and the guest will be more comfortable but you won't be on it. Plus that guys house is nasty, so filthy. But I like his job. And I love Karl and his round head :)
