@incinerator142 : chameleos use dragon element w/ his attacks, so soul, which is weak to dragon, is gonna take a lot of damage. still don't know how it tacks on dragon damage tho, i only know that it hurts more when weak to dragon than with armor that is neutral or resistant to dragon

just an fyi the sonic bombs only bring it out of stealth when it's in an attack animation, otherwise it doesn't do anything lol. Decided to do G-rank chamelos to get some Big elder dragon gems, hack away at him for 24:55...

then as I'm running out of the current zone, he charges me from behind...

@shomenking121 To do an extended spirit combo with a longsword just follow this pattern of button presses.

R, Triangle, R, triangle, R, And if you want to end it with a backstep slash hit triangle and circle at the end of it.

When u fight cham. its highly recommened that u use a fire or dragon kind of weapon. Nd if ur still a noob den all i can is dat stay on the side of his body. he can't attack their. If u want to no more just holla.

@sake46 Actually to keep the Chameleos visible you need to cut off his tail (which is very hard to do.) I cut it off during round 2 in the swamps...

@randomdj100 i don't get your question. are you asking why you don't see my hands in this video? it's because the psp screen is projected onto a laptop and i recorded on the laptop. that's why the quality is better than a video camera because i recorded on my laptop, instead of using a video camera. if you want to do that, you would need cfw, remote joy lite, and a method of recording.

@Overlord910 I don't get it, why is there a sonic bomb on the supply box? How will you use it against the chameleos? I fought the chameleos so many times and I still don't know how to use the flash bomb against the stupid lizard/ dragon or something. LOL

@porkyupine there might be sonic bombs in certain quests. when cham is invis, throw a sonic bomb at it and it'll appear and be visible. to use the flash bomb, u can either flash the area to get its location or use it when it's visible and flash/stun cham. use flash bombs on cham like u would any other monster.

@VvFrostyvV it's a patch you can download from any wifi area. I have it but I don't like it than the original one. It doesn't have a barrel on its back and its weapon doesnt change as its attack power increases.

@VvFrostyvV To what weapon you mean? well i have a slashing cat so it uses a bone pick at the beginning, then a crystal pick, and then a huger lobster claw looking pick (this is the final upgrade and changes at attack power 300+). I'm not sure if the armor changes but I assume not.

@jenders123 Umm go with this LS sword path and you will unlock this sword Bone-Large Bone-Bone Katana Wolf-Bone Katana Shark-Bone Katana Dragon-Fire Dragonsword-Red Dragonsword-Smolder Dragonsword and then it last upgrade with wont be able to get till grank is Knockout Dragonsword you can skip the Bone path if u have some lao horn and his part. A lot of the videos don't really explain his attack patterns, how to dodge them and all that crap...i know its redundant yo put them on a vid but...I need to know

@5had0wKid The best way to learn a monster's patterns is to keep trying to kill the monster. ;P Try using something that can block, or a bowgun/bow so you can keep some distance from him, until you get familiar with him.

the chameleos needs to have less than 30% hp to cut off its tail and you can only break its horn with dragon element. if you break its horn and cut off its tail it cannot turn invisible

@saur55 just as a note, you dont actually need a dragon element to break the horns of any elder dragons (except maybe fatalis)...i've broken the horns/head of teostra/lunastra/k. daora and chameleos just using a LIGHT bowgun and aiming its head. unfortunately, with a bowgun you can't cut the tail :P

Actually u should change ur strategy: Hit the legs with the LS so that it can flinch and hit the horn or tail when its flinched that how I do it but with duals. also its a pretty fast way to farm BEDJ(BigElderDragonJewels)

yes but i'd suggest you use a fire LS instead since he's weaker to fire than dragon and he's neutral or strong (idk which) to thunder. i'd go down the rathalos LS path.

you can buy one from the person that sells the felyne chefs, though it's only availible in unite. check after every quest that she is there. she will sell them eventually.

depends. what weapon are you using and how are you farming him? i have a ruby guide up, and it should work fairly well. what HR are you, cause i suggest you get to HR 7 and get juggernaut. when you get it, use my farming guide. if you're good and get a good rath, it shouldn't take you more than 4 min.

I'm HR 6, and I switch between Tigrex S armor with the Gaurdian Sword which gives me: Quick eating, Evade +1, earplug, and Cold Increase [lo], and I also use Kirin S armor with true devil slicer which gives me: All res +10, Elmnt Atk up, and Sharpening Skl Inc. Que website es your guide on? Link?

it's fencing. you need fencing+10 to get esp. the best bet would be to get death stench or the S series, unless you have 10 los plates just lying around, which i don't think you do lol.

Are you just foolin' A single beam of moonlight(gold Rathian) and Descendants of the king(silver Rathalos) Are available from nekoht. I guess you haven't unlocked. By the way they don't get unlocked passively you have to do some stuff.

It's Explored the unexplored, not descendants of the king and yes i've unlocked them. they only give high rank silver los items, not G rank.

You don't have to. If you do everything right. Nekoht will have separate silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian quests. You can get a Wyvernblade "silver" from that.
