I would also like to be able to have the option of having only channel A+C come out of my left earphone and B+D out of my right earphone on my headphones. Is this possible?

I just did the side by side install with traktor for use on my s4 . I noticed that I have lost the top plate function on the jog wheels with Traktor Pro 2. The wheels are on permanent scratch mode . They work normal in the original s4 software though .

I cant seem to get tp2 to work right. I cant get the advanced veiw to drop down for the decks and their is also nodeck menu under preference. I just bought the new ddjt1 and it came with traktor. Native instruments sent me tp2 via email as the demo and it says to punch in the serial number they gave and boom tp2 full version. but no essential veiw or advanced hummmmm

@errwat you can do that in traktor pro, it's a setting in the preferences, under recording just put "split file at size" to be 2048, so it'll only split it at 2 gigs

@xAlphaxmalex don't have TP2 yet, but hopefully it's the same as in TP1, if you go in the upper left hit the metronome button, and there should be something that says "deck master" make sure it's set to auto.... i think that should do it. you may have to switch the clock master from int to ext or something, but the auto deck master is the main thing

Question...... why doesn't the Traktor Pro2 have the same beatmasher effect as it did before. I use the Kontrol x1 and use to do some amazing things with it. The MIC doesn't work on the Traktor Kontrol S4 with Traktor Pro 2.

The MIC works well on the old S4 Software , not on the new Traktor Pro 2 Software...

It only works when u turn the THRU Mode on. Not On the USB mode.

@Is82odd well I just got the upgrade from the S4 software to the Traktor 2 Software, The thing is, I launched the demo when i got the free download and it had the "platter option" present so I could use it. When I typed in my serial number (activated it), the option for platter went away, and that is literally the only thing that changed from activating it. I don't understand why you would need to upgrade to scratch edition (75 USD) to just add the platter option to the Traktor 2 Program...

For the folks who think that VDJ is lame,VDJ isn't lame,your music probably is. I own both programs and the only differences are the hardware. There used to be differences in sound quality but VDJ 7 sounds no different than any of the traktor programs. For problems with CPU overload,if you are using an HP laptop,shut down all unnecessary services,shut off the wi-fi,and disable the battery status bar. It doesn't matter what you play your music on,your music is either good or it sucks,point blank.
