I believe this was 86...such a good song..Sad Meisner has sorta just disappeared from the scene...Hey Randy give Don Felder a call...he got a screwin too from Don and Glenn!
I'm really confused. What year is this song?, Because I see Messina, Furay, & Meisner here who have all come back to Poco?,To me this sounds like Richard Marx song not really a Poco sound even though it seems to be all the original members.
I absolutely loved the 'Legacy' album. There was some incredible music on it, and, this was my favorite song. I miss bands like Poco, who made the country-rock genre so vibrant.
David COle produced Call it Love(one of the C's in C&C Music Factory of GOnna Make You Sweat and THings that make you go Hmmm fame), and RIchard Marx co-produced Nothing to Hide. THey probably had help in getting the two hit singles from big hitmakers/producers of the day :)
Love Randy's vocals, such a unique voice. Frey can't come close even with the "AutoTune" maxxed out. Love the big bottom sound to the drums, thanks George.
Randy is and will always be my favorite. Thanks for posting this. To be able to SEE him & not just hear him is soooo gooood!!!!!! The Eagles were not fair to him. He certainly added much to theirs and Pocos songs. Finally able to get the CD One More Song. It was so hard to get. Just received it in the mail yesterday and will probably wear it out soon!!!! Also ordered Randy.s CD Love Me Or Leave Me Alone and will probably wear it out too. Thanks Randy for such great songs. Love ya and your voice
messina surely helped this group, nothing against cotton but messina could make the guitar sing, too bad that messner left early, except Schmidt was excellent as well...this group had the best vocals....wow
I miss Randy Meisner---beautiful unique voice, beautiful heart, beautiful man. He is leading a quiet life and I can understand that. No one will ever hold a candle to you, Randy.
Every pop/rock video from 90-91 had the same look, 2 models falling in and out of love, black and white, looks to be in some near-abandoned town in West Texas
OMG! finally i have found something missing all these years.i was so desperately search for this one..simply the best thanx so much for uploading.speachless.
This should have been a bigger hit for them. Reaching only #39 on Billboard Singles Chart? Unbelievable! Should have at least been a top 20 hit for them. What an underrated band.
Can there be any argument now, having heard this, who started this sound? Eagles are great, successful, admired---Poco paved the way, and somehow got screwed.
You got that right. Poco is great and was a torch light for the eagles. Rusty Young had no competition except maybe sneaky Pete. And Richie...what can ya say but wow.
This is all Poco--although it certainly has an old Eagles sound to it---mostly because, in addition to singing the lead, Randy is also doing a lot of the higher harmony. Poco taught The Eagles everything they know. A shame how things worked out, no?
Not JUST Randy though his voice is lovely! All of members of POCO have great voices and are incredible musicians. I've seen Randy with the Eagles and POCO without; Richie Furay solo. I'm disappointed in what the Eagles have become; but, they created great music with Meisner, Leadon and Felder. Felder has a tell-all book coming. I lost respect in the Eagles via 'coke' and the $ amount of their concert tickets. How rich do you need to be? Cuz you can charge that much doesn't mean you should.
I must agree with you, seems like some do sell out and some dont. Doesn't matter if they make great music, it should be available for everyone to go see them...
good album but Furay gave them all such a hard time with this album & the songs/lyrics. Unreal, he must have drivenn them all nuts.

This video would have been a million times better if it just had Randy singing this song on a stage.
That's all that was needed, believe me.
