God, what a gorgeous piece of music. I was driving in Amish Country, in Pennsylvania, on an overcast day. I purposefully got lost, and found myself in the midst of what felt liked hallowed ground; no other cars, no electric lines, nothing but farms and peaceful, verdant land. And this piece washed through me. I felt as if I were suspended in time.
The whole album is great. After a day of hard work I could wind down listening to this record. Thirty-one years later it sounds just as good and feels...brings back those feelings.
Oh yes, this track is brilliant. If they played this stuff on the radio instead of the usual crap, it might even have some positive consequences on people's overall mood, and, maybe in the long run, even make people more intelligent, who knows. It's kinda...peace-inducing. Proper for an esthetic movie too.
this is probably one of my favourate songs, in my opinion you should have made it 60 minutes long, if either of you read this, i would love for you to email me some concerts you are doing or any new albums you have coming out. cheers guys phil

Cocteau Twins' cover art on "Lullabies To Violane"
Harold Budd & Robin Guthrie are a fascinating combination as well ...
