I'm putting a 2hp briggs on a 22" frame mountain bike so that the engine fit in the bike frame. It's a junk bike that I'm getting for $25 off craigslist I want to use the bike gear's for shifting gear's. I'm going remove the crank and make a jack shaft with a belt drive pulley on the left side it's and edger engine that I'm using it a Briggs & Stratton form the 60's or whatnot. Nice bike's you build two thumb's up.. Later..

I got an idea... with all this petroleum trouble... scrounge up a little old diesel engine and run your wheels on sunflower seed oil or veggy oil.

Randolph Diesel invented the diesel engine to run on peanut oil or hemp oil.

well those types of engine are not good choices for bike motors they are very hevy and hard to balance but my fastest go carts and mini bikes as a kid had that same 3.5 tuch. so i know that thing is faster than that. once again the balance issue
