  • i think hes a great person with a great heart and he loves his job :)

    cheers mate

  • fukin jamie oliver

  • watch the video, take some!

  • I really liked it

  • great video

  • wow. i would love to have just a tenth of that land.

  • Jamie Oliver??.... I thought they were talking about the guy on the Daily Show with John Stewart.

  • Jamie Oliver to run the nation !!!

  • I dream of Jeanie

  • this guys vitality and entusiasm just amazes me.. are there many people like that in England?

  • Why can't politicians see what he's trying to do with healthy food in schools and help with it?

    a) They're stupid

    b) They think it's stupid

    c) They don't want a healthy, intelligent, vibrant electorate

  • Jamie Oliver continuously helps me be less of a picky eater. The more I watch him and the passion he has towards good, healthy, no-crap food the more I want to go out there and see what there is. He makes it look easy, then you try what he does and bloody hell, it is! Just amazing. Thank you Jamie for opening my eyes to the world of wholesome, laid back cookin'.

    :3

  • @CrimsonBlooDrop agree man his a healthy and tasty food god

  • he's like, "yeah? interview me? your show?"

"na mate this is my show now, I'll show you how to make a salad"

    :]

  • Jeez, what a terrible soundtrack! Terribly chosen AND terribly edited.

  • I love Jamie Oliver, and his garden is beautiful. My biggest dream is to be able to eat food grown in my own garden.

  • @ashleystilleto Me too!!! I wish I was in my own house on some acreage so I could have a wicked big vegie patch and also fruit orchard where my free range chooks can spend all day scratching around in. It's my dream!

  • he is so cool!!

  • i love jamie oliver so so much...and for the haters!!!get a life MORONS....

  • there 15 haters that eat shit junk food and want to die an early death

  • hes a really good chef i have hi 2 books jamie at home and jamies food ministry

  • I just discovered this fellow on the food channel and I wanted to find out more about his garden, his choices for the veggies etc.. The plant referred to in this video is not marygold but nasturtium and indeed, young leaves (in salads as he prescribes), flowers (chopped and mixed in butter are fabulous on top of warm veggies, melting slowly and adding some colors to them as the butter melts) and seed pods (treated and used like "cheap" capers, in vinegar).are edible. His garden is beautiful!

  • "size isn't everything, is it"

    What an affected joke...

  • Jamie is the best cook ever, and screw the haters.

  • whats the name of the song playing in the background (not the remixed with the drums but the original?)

  • @hipnotyq

    I would say Air - J.S.Bach

  • Jamie Oliver rocks. I love this guy.

  • I'm sure someone has pointed this out already so then for the sake of repeating it; the flower that he was referring to around 2:05 is actually called a Nasturtium, not a Marigold.

  • this old people's home background music annoys me.

  • Jamie, please come to my room naked.

  • @MrZebraZombie the shocking thing is your a man

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhh. i love him! We need more people like him :D

  • i love his passion :) its so inspiring. i love jamie!

  • I really like Jamie he seems like a real down to earth guy who's passionate bout what he does.

  • pasqualevenerdi:

    1. Why is it that British patrotism is disdained, but other countries are perfectly respectable for 'bigging up' their countries? Don't be a hypocrite!

    2. What the hell are you even talking about? What has he said that pertains to "British nationalism"? He has not said ANYTHING OF THE SORT! The fact that you have alluded to something which does not exist just proves that YOU are arrogant and a bit too proud/hate Britain pointlessly.

  • Why the hell Jamie Oliver got so much haters? My god!

  • @byLivio I know! He seems such a decent human being

  • @byLivio I cant work it out either, jamie was one of the first so called "celebrity chefs", and he is still the only one i watch and like

  • @byLivio he made food healthy at schools

  • Hej Sandieman666, if you are a chef and say you know what the hell you're talkin about then you should know that the human body is designed for everything BUT processing meat! We humans have a system that is specifically designed for vegetarian food, so stop spreading the nonsense! And as a meat eater I would much apreciate it if you would have a little more respect for people who don't have the same ideas as yourself, you idiot!

  • well said...

  • @DirkDulciaan

The teeth and jaw are the way they are because we eat meat and always have

  • @DocGreen15, I eat meat, but you are wrong. We didnt always eat meat.

  • @MrZebraZombie

At what point in our evolution did the jaw change to "meat eater"? These things don't happen over night.

It's the same way a horse's jaw is designed to chew grass... our's is to pull at meat.

  • Of course it doesnt happen overnight, its evolution!

But no offense, I dont want to argue on youtube about whether or not we are carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores. I really lost interest. Im going to be a hotdog, good day!

  • You are wrong our origin is carnivore and we have tell tales signs - We need salt, We can make some of our own Vitamin C. These betray our distant past. There are many other signs - closed roots in our teeth, vestigial canines, front facing eyes - the list actually endless and very obvious when you think it through.

  • @TimCob um.....a lot of creatures have front facing eyes that are herbivores. Just sayin. i just think on average people think they need more meat than they actually do.

  • @MrZebraZombie My astronomy professor, who wrote a textbook for Oxford University, told our class that it takes MORE faith to believe in Evolution than Creation; because, when one peels the layers, it's a naked theory. Science is an arrogant discipline with its share of corruption. We're brainwashed in school, at museums, & science exhibits that Evolution is IRREFRAGABLE Fact. "Intelligent Design" is rarely mentioned as an alternative possibility. The "proof" for E are sparse and truly absurd!

  • @DirkDulciaan yeah, kinda written in anger over vegans with no background knowledge, sorry bout that! "im a chef, i know what the hell im talking about" (= what a stupid thing to write..).) would be cool if there was more restrictions on big meatslaughters, so they would get more competition from small local products + that people oughta try brazing other cuts of meat not just pure boring filets. just to make eating meat more enviromentally friendly. wonder how long cow meat stays in marked?

  • what vegans need to accept is that the human rase, and the human body is designed to prosess meat and other proteins, if you cant understand why some people love a medium rare steak, why the FUCK should we meateaters even fuckin listen to you? im a chef, I know what the hell im talkin about, dont go spread your "murder"stamp on those who enjoy dead fuckin juicy meat, "gloomyvegan", its better eating "unprocessed pure meat than turkey wieners with a to z ingredients!

  • lm a meat eater, but you have no idea what youre talking about, matter of fact youre a dickhead. 'lm a chef, i know what im talkin about', L0L... what a tosser

  • Cooking at home is -always- less expensive than eating out by a significant margin. You might not be able to afford Kobe beef and white truffles every weekend, but you can get relatively fresh produce that is, on average, as good if not better than what you would receive at a local restaurant, and for a significantly lower price.

You just need time and a bit of knowledge.

  • well, that's basically his whole point -- make better food for yourself. I mean if you have to feed yourself with cheap hormone meat, go ahead! Not to mention growing your own veg doesn't even cost anything.

  • twatter

  • That is odd he is calling a Nasturtium/Capucine a Marigold.

Marigolds are edible, but he's definitely got a Nast. there.

I love it when they go to seed - the seeds smell like fresh peaunts.

  • Yeah like the people that buy identifiable pieces of meat wrapped in plastic and injected with water and chemicals. They are the real heroes aren't they....

  • I hate vegans

  • I bet hate is a big part of your life.

  • fuck u mate!!! jamie is the best... he knows about good quality of food and healthy food while obiously you DON'T!!!

  • Do they call Nasturtium...marigolds in England? Those aren't marigolds. Great guy all the same. Cheers mate!

  • No they don't ........a nasturtium is a nasturtium! Maybe someone can buy him a flower book !!!!!!!

  • Air on G string by Johann Sebastian Bach--the "remix";)

  • May i know what's the title of the sound?

  • Aku cinta Jamie Oliver, aku tresno marang kowe Jam, I love the way you influance ordinary people to cook for their family. You are my inspiration ,,, I wish I can visit some of your resto in Sydney someday ,,, I guess on my 2nd visit, cross my fingr. I got the same 'lumpang & alu' like yours, definately taste better than using blender or food processor ;). Love you Jamie ,,,

  • What a poser. Making a recipe is easy and not much people can understand that a recipe isn't about the quantities but about the understanding of what your actually working with. Of course great produces is the key of a good dish but for me jamie is has good has other starchefs that I've seen trying to show off on their own show. At least Gordon showed the real side of cooking. Jamie didn't inspired the next generation of chefs he stepped in to be a smart ass. Marco inspired lots of generations.

  • I think you might be ignorant. I don't think that he uses his show to inspire chefs. He want's to inspire the home cook into using good quality ingredients and learn to cook real food; not just reheating or cooking from a box. Often on his shows he says that his favorite type of food is casual and rustic. I don't think he's trying to show off because his dishes are very simple with minimal ingredients. It's just simple smart cooking. And what do you mean by by Poser? I think you're misunderstood

  • Well actually people are bottered by the fact of making their own meals so I reallye don't see why they would actually take time to look out their local producers. People want to have good ingredients but lets live in the real world, people go to supermarkets and actually few of them will want to pay expensive prices to buy better quality food which can't be guaranteed fresh or own a super garden like jamie. That's why people relye on restaurants to eat fresh local food. First step is cooking.

  • What r u on man??? Jamie is the man, inspires the home cook, never has he gone on a show to inspire chefs bahahaha why would he have to??

Your fucked, if u dont like him stop watching his shows, cause you must watch him to be able to comment...

  • No actually I've been on this stupid video since I've seen this video which Jamie Oliver actually insulted Marco Pierre White to be a psychological bully. Why I've looked up this video? because I wanted to see what Jamie Oliver is able to learn us. And sorry to insult your little hero Jamie Oliver, but he needs to fucking grow up before insulting better chefs than himself. Jamie think he's all the beezneez but he still has masses to learn.

  • You Tell It, salezosomano!

  • what da fuck do you do? Looser1

  • Lol

  • i make his slow braised lamb, it takes 5 hours but its so easy, once everything is in the tin thats it, it really is soooo delicious, he certainly knows his food....

  • Comment removed

  • theakstons a twat he bums wasps

  • Mmmmmmm, he's gorgeous. :o)

  • i dont really care about his personality.

    i just love good food.

and he knows how to do it :)

tried many of his recipes and theyre all great

  • Joyland1984, the song on this clip is "Air on the G String" by J.S Bach. I think it'sone of the most beautiful classical music pieces ever composed!

Also, the flower Jamie talks about is NOT a marigold, but a nasturtium. Maybe they call them marigolds in England, though! :0)

  • Thank you very much Lily ..i like this music

  • cheeky is not the word.

he has appeared on tv and even with women very little is holding him back from openly mocking them.

  • what is the name of the music in this show?

  • Jamie Oliver is rude. His manner is very disagreeable.

  • lol he's just cheeky....

I noticed most people from the UK have that sort of personality

  • Aah, I just found this by accident, I really miss the sound of this show! hehe

  • jamie oliver hit me

  • Comment removed

  • the tv journalist is quite hot! :D

  • why does Jamie keep calling him "Big Boy"?? Weird

  • the music is disturbing!

  • i agree!

  • Twit!! yeah whatever easy mistake to make u idiot!!

  • I hope someone sent Jamie some Ohakune Carrot seeds.

  • he said 'or an all black', he was talking about rugby players you twit, as in the new zealand team.... as in big and burley....

  • I love how many sexual innuendoes there are in this.

  • he says butch builder or all black (kiwi rugby player)

  • I do like jamie oliver but one comment in that video I thought was ignorant and rude "When you think about growing your own vegetable patch weather you are a big ole butch builder or black"

What has being black got to with growing your own vegetables. Also how did he get away with it.?

  • He said "all black". He's talking to a reporter from New Zealand. All Black....New Zealand...see the connection?

  • Oh! Amazing how things are seen differently, depending on where you're from!

  • He said ALL BLACK, referring to your rugby side :)

He was saying if you are like a big bloke.

  • Whoops oh well it was easily confused "or Black" or All Black" sorry jamie!

  • Thats a dream place to live :O everything you need to make anything you need...wow...

  • the Air on G String at the beginning of the song.. its kinda hip-hopish.. does anyone kno wat its actually called?

i'm a fan of jamie and have a lot of respect to him but can any1 help me with the song??

  • yeah. the tempo is kinda cool. nice twist to a classic.

  • I think it's called "Bitch Slapping Bach"

  • lol.. for real?

  • Sorry to say but Jamie that was a nasturtium not a marigold, but I'll forgive you since you are a "bit bonkers" love ya.

  • I think his kitchen place is one of the environmental friendly ones.

I like it ,and I like the cook, too.

Hope oliver will be more and more popular.

  • "like viagra...keeps you going"

    lmao

  • i love jamie oliver always has he s great at what he does alot of passion

  • beautiful fellow

  • Jamie rocks, but the music used for this video really sucks.

  • the music is awesome

  • I think it disturbs a little bit ^^'' but everyone has his own flavour :)

  • What about all those shit Sainsbury commercials where he was having a crazy time with all these people that were supposed to be his actual friends and they were all actors. Talk about full of shit. And his supposed stance against Sainsburys use of caged chicken. He is still quite happy to take money from them and promote them and they still sell chicken products from farmed hens. What a two faced arsehole.

  • u wanna die ???? cuz i will kill ya ??

    no one disses my hero

  • i like his house&his garden&his lake&his kitchens :D lol i think he has more than one? ^^

  • this guy is a great guy, have worked alongside him in real life. A truly inspirational person and humble.

  • This must be UK only, haven't seen this in the states yet.

  • Intersting vid. I had know idea JO was known in NZ.

  • it from New Zealand TV

  • Thanks for the info. Are you from New Zealand?

  • Yes I am

  • Your countrymen, Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement are making me shit myself with laughter (Flight of the Conchords), were they popular in New Zealand?

  • Yeah they were quite popular here but they become very popular in the states there new album is number three here

  • Is their show popular down there? It got nominated for an Emmy here.

  • Jamie Oliver rocks :D I wunder if he can teach me to cook baked beans.
