3 weed eater motors together, make alot of noise. i wonder. can you make a working r/c diesel 4 stroke or 2 stroke diesel work. 2t diesel, means of course some sort of forced induction. but, i wonder if you could make a real, honest, 4 stroke diesel work as a r/c motor. that would be cool. a twin engine r/c diesel model tractor.

Very possible, Look at yanmars line of diesels, and note the one cylinder engine design they have. Could be made smaller and re designed as a naturally aspirated diesel. However, for the size electric motors are much better power houses than a gasser, or possibly even a diesel engine of that size. However much more i love gas and diesel this is true, just put a winch motor in it if you want torque.

speed means.. lightweight, tall gears. and high revs. power means. heavy, big power and low gears. two different needs for two different worlds. a indy car could pull a sled, but its clutch and stuff would burn up. and tractor could run.. it would be slow.. but it can pull a sled out to the next county. torque baby. indy does not have torque. a diesel tractor does. LOTS of it.

that is why diesels work so well. HUGE power and not much rpm.
