Chambliss voted to get rid of the Wall Street oversight designed to prevent another Great Depression. He took hundreds of thousands of dollars from Wall Street and voted to let them run wild. He voted to give them billions more in tax breaks.
I live in GA and Saxby is one of the most disgusting people I have ever seen. The sad part is when you get out to the rural parts of GA, people vote for him because he is a "good" "God-fearing" man. In fact he is just a nasty S.O.B.
This specific ad was called " beyond reprehensible. It's disgusting " by none other than John McCain, who is now campaigning in Georgia to re-elect Saxby Chambliss to the US Senate. I can't decide who I hate more, Chambliss for running this bile or McCain for condemning it only to praise the person who ran it six years later. Georgia, follow America's lead and oust this worthless piece of shit Chambliss from the Senate.
Chambliss received 5 college draft deferments during the Viet Nam war while attending the University of Georgia in 1966 after graduation he got married also a draft deferment.

I always love that one. The unconstitutional card. What was the Supreme Court vote by the way? Unanimous? 5-4? Oh right, there wasn't one. Because no serious legal scholar thinks it is unconstitutional. Now that Democrats are in power, you can lobby to have them dismantle it. But good luck with that. They know it's needed to fight terrorism -- and only oppose it to get your vote.
Like I said, the Patriot Act is both unconstitutional and anti-American. Cleland was right to vote against it, 11 times. Oh, you know who else thought it was unconstitutional? John Ashcroft. Bush sent Andrew Card and Alberto Gonzalez to try to get him to sign off on it while he was in the hospital set to undergo major surgery. Problem was, they did so AFTER James Comey, who Ashcroft abdicated the power of AG on a temporary basis refused. In the end, Ashcroft went along with it unwillingly.
And yeah, no shit, there was no Supreme Court decision. Because they wouldn't allow one. It is almost impossible to get ANY court to hear a case that involves overturning a legislative decision. The Patriot Act has done less to fight terroris than George W Bush has, and Bush has done two things: COCK and BALLS. And yes, Ashcroft has said since resigning as attorney general that he was never a proponent of the Patriot Act, but went along so not to embarass the president.

If "Saxby" offered Mr. Cleland an apology for his disgraceful, dishonorable actions, he "might" be half the man Max is.
It's interesting that democrats could never defend Cleland's votes based on their actual merits. So you went for pity. Nobody questioned his sacrifice or his patriotism -- just the wisdom of his votes. Especially since he put union work rules above homeland security.

PLEASE do everything you can to elect Jim Martin in the Dec. 2 runoff! President Elect Obama needs Jim in the Senate to help legislate the change we need. Saxby is detestable - an embarrassment to politics and the state of Georgia.
