  • Fuck whoever filmed this. FUCK YOU. You should go to hell. Do you think that when you're sobbing in pain and agony you want someone to stand there filming you! Insensitive son of a bitch. Die in hell. I hope the poor man you film can get rid of this devil once and for all.

  • I'm a suffer of these horrible headaches! I just wanna know why? No one should ever have to feel this kind of pain! Whom ever suffers with clusters...I love you! Hang in there!

  • CLuster headaches are the worse thing on earth i promise you this.....they are unbelievable i am thinking about trying botox since it seems like if i can relax all my muscles in the face and neck in the begining stages of one i get better. Also i found that anti anxieety medication helps...Ofcoasrse im not a doctor but taking a calm me down pill in the middle of a cycle stops the cycle. TOO much imitrex can make the headaches cycle more than usual. I love you all who suffer. God bless you

  • anybody who says that someone is faking a cluster headache should suck a sick dick for real. i have suffered from them for six years, and would give anything to be a non-clusty.

  • i suffer from migraines but this is probably alot worse :/

  • @cluster-headache

f*** you and p*ss of my head....

Autumn and my Period begins now for about 10 weeks of two times pain a day since 8 Years. I hate.

My respect for all other affected. For curation: Xylocain nasal injected wih a 5ml pipette had a soothing effect not more. The only that helps fast and sure at me is Triptane nasal spray .

  • cluster headaches vs kidney stones? Which is more painful? Any lucky individuals ever had both?

  • @Dom20002007 It must suck to have both. Having Migraines and cluster headaches sucks more. I sometimes get the pain with almost both of all the cluster and migraine features.Sometimes it's just a migraine or a cluster headache. Btw cluster headache is more painful. I would rather get hit hard in the family jewels and or get stab in the legs than to suffer through this agony.

  • @Dom20002007 i had both, and actually i think kidney stones are a bit more painful, but cluster headache is more annoying for me. no to mention that the cluster headache is last for longer period. anyway i had kidney stone almost every year and cluster headache every other year.

  • @csongor1986 oh man lol i do NOT envy you! At least u know u have took the worst that life has got to offer and you are still going strong! Im assuming nothing even compares to those 2 in terms of pain u have felt?

  • @Dom20002007 Well I've had a root canal and tooth extraction of a severely infected tooth with no novacaine (second worst pain of my life) and I'd rather have that done everyday for the rest of my life than have just one more attack.

  • @Dom20002007 I used to suffer from regular kidney stones. They are incredibly painful. I also occasionally get a migraine, but can probably could the number of times I've had them on one hand. Let me tell you, as excruciating as my kidney stones were, I would take one over these cluster headaches. I feel nothing but utter sympathy for these people.

  • @papersplease could = count

  • I've had them for seven years. Anyone who says someone is faking it. Doesn't know what the fuck their talking about. No one can fake that much. I know how bad they can be.

  • I've fighting this for two years :/ happens mostly at 3am :(

  • God I know exactly what this is like. been fighting this for 11 years now. Wishing you some pain free days

  • Very useful information....! thanks for upload this video...!

  • I am a sufferer too - The following work with varying side effects!:

    Sumitriptan - legal - chest pain/sob/flushing - but short-acting 5-10 minutes

Psylocybin - not so legal; hallucinations; not consistent; side effects: last for a couple of hours at most

LSD - illegal; you are looking at a different planet; side effects-don't go there if you have psych problems - effects can last for hours - however, relief is something else

    do what works for you!

  • Lamento mucho...no ablo castelhano e nem Ingles....procure una traducion no google....sorry.

  • @bslavkopa Thank you for your kind words...I do in deed exercise and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle ...it works 45 weeks per year...unfortunately the reminding 6 or 7 weeks I haven't found anything that would stop the attacks and the pain...and believe me! I've tried meditation, yoga, prescription drugs, acupuncture, pot, oxygen, exercise, caffeine and even some no so legal drugs to deal with the pain and nothing has ever worked...many times have made it worse...I guess I'll keep trying...

  • @bslavkopa yup!...exercise sometimes makes it worse...though I don't drink coffee I read somewhere that caffeine helps. I've had it for the last 25 years and I've tried everything i can think of...nothing helps and since it's a benign pain nobody in the science field seems to care...hey if it doesn't kill me, sure it makes me stronger!...good thing is i have become extremely tolerable to pain in general...passing kidney stones wasn't a big deal at all...

  • once i had an attack just before leaving the house to go to work. i even called while the attack rose up.

Next day my boss looked at me and said:" well you know.. when I got a headache, I take an aspirin."

  • @coldheartedsquirrel ...if a get a dime each time I've been told the same thing...I don't even bother telling people anymore...they just don't get it.

  • @kelo2000 Exactly. I just make up other excuses, like food poisoning.

  • 100% oxygen helps .

  • I have seen more people on YT claiming to have CH's than there are diagnosed in the world. I'm not saying the guy in the video is faking it but I know a lot of commenters do.

  • @OriginalYTName Pretty easy to make that statement with no supporting evidence. If you actually knew anything about CT, you'd know that there are far more undiagnosed or misdiagnosed cases than there are documented cases. Not only is it not understood, many doctors are unaware of its existence. Do a little research before you go trashing people who are experiencing one of the most excruciating things a human can.

  • @jorsmith07

I'm not trashing people for god sakes, if people really do have this then I feel for them.

Do you have any idea what the internet is like though? Most people get to videos like these by typing into Google "The most painful thing ever" and then think it's funny to pretend they have it. I actually have done a lot of research into this subject, it was actually the focus of my Biology A2 coursework. The commom age range for CH's to even start is 20 - 30 and yet

    *...continued...*

  • @jorsmith07

*..continued..* you get people stating "i startd gettin cluster hedachez ysterdai" all over YouTube, I hope people between the ages I said aren't still spelling like that?

  • I'm also a CH sufferer of 10 years. Tell Daniel there are meds that make it much better, and to keep changing doctors until one of them is capable of helping. I went 8 years of suffering before I found a doctor that knew what he was doing.

  • Comment removed

  • @bslavkopa I tried both and since then I haven't had for like 5 years, just short ones and with much less intensity.

  • I get cluster headaches too. I feel your pain.

  • Chronic sufferer of 4 years here,02 and alternate methods like LSA work wonders.

  • @bslavkopa my last cycle i tried hyper ventelating while speed walking around in a large fixed pattern aka warped circles. it was the first i tried anything other than crying in bed. cut my attacks from hours to 20-30 min. cover your ears for this next part kiddos. orgasm can instantly stop an attack. its not easy; but that is valid info.

for those of you who think this is a migrane - its not. if a normal head ache is 1 and a migrane is 10 than a CH is 100...thousand.

    instanthellcrescendo

  • @moonwobble Ummm, not to sound like a dick, but the people who suffer from the servere cluster headaches (like the guy in this video), I doubt could orgasm during an attack. Maybe I'm wrong, but it wouldn't be easy.

  • for those of you that dont believe this is real...your deffinately falling short of reality! This is the most horrific pain i have ever been in ever ever. suffered 6 years ago for a little under 3 months and am suffering now for the past 2.5 months. He maintains himself very well in this video because it really is the most horrible pain imaginable.

  • I have suffred from clusters headaches since 1992, doctors have tried everything, hardly nothing works, excepts percozet, caffeine pills and lay down ice in my head in a closr room take benadryl with a percozet lay down and sleep it off, if you are lucjy to catch it before it begines imitrex will take the edge off, but you have to catch the headache when it starts, most of the time I get it AT WORK and of course no meds on site, so this is not fake fellos, only a migraine sufferer can understa

  • I suffer cluster headaches aka CH , its pure agony that goes on and on and on. I have said in other CH comments that everyone in the world need to experience this just for 15 mins in their life to realise how CH sufferers tolerate the untolerable.

    Hmm..medievil torture...probably worse.

If I were to video my attacks youtube would prob remove them as the level of pain I suffer almost makes me scream like a baby boy and I'm a big dumass 6 foot 3 guy wieghing 238lbs

  • Ive had something similar.. It started with seeing things blurry, within an hour i couldnt see much more then a big blur. After that hour the pain begins, first it feels like youve bumped your head, minutes later it starts as a mild headache.

After an half hour, i cant stand stand the pain anymore, at that moment i would almost smack my head so hard against the wall that i would be knocked out...

Lucky for me ive only had this five times in my whole life... Everyone tells me it is migraine?

  • I suffer this nightmare for 13 yrs, its got I dont tell people because if I said I suffer terible headaches I would be told "Oooh how they suffer migraine or tension headaches and then be told how bad they are..........if only, I wish, migraine is wee buns compared to this. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy....ya feel like you are dying and then it makes you wish you would die.

  • @VooDooChild1993 or even shrooms. You don't even have to trip... just take a small dose of psilocybin and you'll be CH free for about 5-6 months! It works, but watch out for the cops!

  • I don't know if this will work for you but it is something you can try. Down as many cups of water as you can stand when you get the headache. It worked for me and I have suffered from these headaches since the age of 12. I never tried water before until the headache I got yesterday went on for over 3 hours (one of the longest I've experienced). I'm not a big water drinker, but you best believe I am now! Hope this works for my fellow sufferers as well. All we can do is be there for one another.

  • sumatriptan guys, the only thing thats ever taken the pain away for me. God bless sumatriptan!!!

  • It has taken me more than 20 years to be diagnosed as cluster headache sufferer, my career and prospect of employment went down the pan a long time ago because of having to find a new job after each of my three months of torture because my doctors couldn't sign me off sick for more than 6 weeks. It is thanks to you people that are raising awareness that my family and I finally realise we are not alone

  • @MrLoami ..podrias escribirlo en espanol o ingles...me interesa saberlo...gracias!

  • I'm a chronic and find the only solution in psychedelics. There are legal way's to take them: LSA from Hawaian Baby Woodrose seeds ( 5 seeds crushed in plain water for 2 hours and than drink it ) - Psilocybe ( you can order magic truffels online, just put them in yogurt and eat them ) Ayahuasca ( go to a meeting of the Santo Daime church ). To get out of the episode do it once a week and absolutely take no other medicins exept oxygen and lots of water. Than once a month to stay out of pain. QED!

  • Cluster Headaches are rare, and even more on women. Generally only men suffer from this, but my mom has them. Even though I don't have them, I understand what you go through and salute and respect you, for this pain is a monster... simply unbearable. My best wishes, may you stop suffering. My heart goes out to you.

  • dude take acid

  • I know exactly how he feels,i have suffered those HORRIBLE headaches for 25 years and they are pure EVIL

  • @cruiser502 25 years! And you still here, Wow... bless you, You are a strong person.. Like every clusterpatient is. I'm chronic myself 4 years now... but 25 years with this pain, you just make me cry....

  • @magje77 Seriously, why do some people act as if having a headache is SO special?

If it is really bad, get an aspirine and just lay down.

  • @TheAnarcrusty are you stupid? cluster headaches is the worst pain a human can feel, women who have birth say it's more severe.

  • @countbleck35 It really is, I would prefer to give birth ten times a day, Then feel the pain of a cluster headache.

  • @TheAnarcrusty And you my friend, Should consider to do your homework first.

  • @magje77 Hi Maggie, I read up on it and I think I owe you an apology for my ignorant comment.

I thought a clusterheadache was some kind of tension headache, which is easy to handle. I know now that CH however is an extremely painful neurological condition.

Will you please accept my apology?

  • @TheAnarcrusty Dear Anarcurshty: Apology accepted. That's the problem, That every cluster patient is fighting against, People in the unknown, thinking that we suffer a regular headache. Unfortunately that is not the case. I would sure prefer a regular headache, oh sure, just take a aspirin and go on.. With Clusterhedache you are incapable of doing anything! The pain is extreme and death seems the only way to escape the pain. It's a struggle dealing with clusterheadache.... A fight for relieve..

  • @TheAnarcrusty I'm sorry I didn't read this. It's good of you to apologize cause most people wouldn't bother. I think I owe you an apology too. I didn't have a good reason to go psycho.

  • @TheAnarcrusty I have had Cluster headache (Or Hortons syndrome) for the last 15 years and there is no way in hell you can compare it to a normal headache... The pain is indescribeable.. Many times you feel that the only way out is suicide.. Just to take the shotgun in your mouth and get that instant relief... I have a lovely family and the best friends i could ever wish for, and that keeps me from doing it... It is litterally hell on earth, and not to be made jokes about......

  • @TheAnarcrusty You are an idiot. Aspirin and lie down. Idiot. I'm 11 and I've been dancing with this devil throughout my life. And I tell you, the only goddamn medicine here is suicide. They don't call it the suicide headache for nothing.

  • I know how it feels too, he is not faking if anyone sees this video. I become violent when I get this head ache. terrible terrible terrible pain..sorry for all of us who has it.

  • poor thing, for the longest time, we (my husband) and i didnt know what this was /: its not just horrible for the sufferers, the family feels it too

  • jaraha..... I know for a fact he is not faking it.

  • @jaraha no he's not

  • @jaraha Why don't we dig your eye out and pour salt in it? Then we'll say you're faking it.

  • I am sorry sir ,I am not a doctor , and I have to wait for Professor Peter Goadsbye to give his response to my case first , after I am sure I will be able to help you become free of this beast for ever. For now you must follow your doctor treatment .and god help you .but the hope is here soon we will get rid of the beast forever

  • it is important to know what causes this headaches , with my experment I found out the cause , and it is nothing to do with your diet or drink or smoking . I was a cluster headaches patient ,and now i am free from all headaches not for a day or too but forever.without drugs, herbs, oxygen or theropy . I am waitting for professor Peter Goadsby to confirm my condetions before and after. contact me if you want to know more

  • You mind telling me your method? My headaches have re-surfaced and I need help before I blow my brains out.

  • I am a sufferer, if you suffer from Cluster headaches (not migraines or headaches) then see a doctor and demand to see a neurologist as soon as possible. Verapamil is the best preventative, Oxygen and Triptans are the best abortive medication. If you need help feel free to email me on here.

Believe it or not, as sad as this video is, this is a mild attack and they get a lot worse!!

  • GOD HELP THIS POOR MOTHERFUCKER

  • Try accupunture. 10 mins per day....it works for me after a week

  • To those of you who are talking about how to get relief from a regular headache, you have no idea what we are dealing with. As sufferers of this fucking nightmare (as I am) we understand the agony of white knuckle torture.

  • 12:00-1:30pm 8:00-11:00pm 1:30-3:45a.m. I believe I have mines down to a tee...anytime these times approach I hang on for dear life and pray that I dont get one...usually the a.m. time is directly outta sleep those are the worst!! what a fucken way to wake up!! you havent expirenced pain until one of these bad boys makes you a prisoner in your own body!!

  • i find that if i find the vein that is pumping blood through my temple and push gently on it to restrict the flow, this give momentary help... also, hay fever tabs used regularly help me too. also i have a massage chair and finding a sot under my shoulder-blade on the side thats hurting really helps but can be a little sore.

  • i have had clusster headaches for about 15 years now tried most treatments and found the best one to be accupuncture. Daniel at Blue Dragon Health Services in vic for anyone who is interested he is brilliant

  • YEEAAAAHHH... Another Cycle. This time im switching my diet. Trying to exercise. Maybe its preservatives? My body is so dead. So tired. Im also doing acupuncture. That really seems to help. I've met with a chinese doc recently and she acupunctures my stomach. It seems to help. I don't have a headache for a day at least after she visits so maybe im onto something.

Just turned 31. Sufferer about 10 years now. I don't know how i can make it to 40, 50, 70, 80? I often pray for death.

  • I find a powerfull shower on the top of my head helps while waiting for meds to kick in

  • God... I hate it so much. If I could trade it for a series of kicks in the nuts I'd take.

  • Nothing worse. Nothing.

    Out of nowhere.

PAIN like you can't even comprehend.

In one side of your skull. The whole side.

    Severe, extreme explosive horrible PAIN.

Then, after about an hour, it just stops.

    Again, out of nowhere.

    Fuck Waterboarding,These things are TORTURE.

    Hang in there buddy.

    .

  • Oh man, these headaches are beyond hell. I am going through a cycle at the moment and am living in fear of each attack. I am rendered disabled during these cycles, the pain is beyond comprehension: I had an accident once where my heel exploded and I had re-constructive surgery with plates and 16 pins in my foot. The pain of a bad Cluster attack is worse than that.

  • I remember when i was at work and had an attack, boss came up to me and told me "stop acting like a mental case and get back to work!"

    Gotta love bosses!

  • I would have punched him in the fuckin face hahaha

  • I would 2!What a complete idiot your boss!

  • Your boss is a jerk :(

  • @Pieh0 This is actually how I was fired from my last job. After my attack was finished I punched the arsehole.

  • @Pieh0 i have panic attacks i have the same shite of my bosses they just dont understand and never will...i wish she could feal it sometimez..and the other people in my work..they all look at me like im a nut job....cunts!!!!!

  • shrooms, my good man, shrooms.

  • I heard about shrooms. I have nothing left to try. Does it help to break a cycle or are shrooms something you take all the time? how would i go about getting them?

  • unfortunately they are illegal. medical research on shrooms and cluster headaches is still ongoing at the moment. you can try growing them yourself.

  • Shrooms work wonders. I used to have three 2 month periods of attacks a year, but after I took my first small dose of shrooms, I didn't have an attack in 14 months. When they came back, I took another small dose. That's exactly one year ago, and I haven't had an attack since.

Basically, all I need is one sub-psychedelic dose of shrooms a year, and I'm pain free.

  • i tryed a psychedelic dose once and isnt something i would recomend.

  • Any ergot derivative, so LSD or Psilocybin ("shrooms"). They're actually far safer than the addictive opiates with low LD50 levels that may lower testosterone levels (which may be a cause to cluster headaches).

They stop the cycle, but you'd need to take them periodically. But of course, the pharmaceutical corporations would never legalize a medicine we could grow ourselves.

  • There is a new post from the Spaniard on clusterheadaches(dot)com. He claims relief by raising the arms above the head and pumping the fists. Check it out!

  • Poor you man, i hope you are getting some treatment in triptan or oxygen form, im gonna try the lsd approach this winter when they (inevitably) arrive again..

  • any woman on this? Jezzzz am I the only freaking 1%???????????8 years with this monster...so far guarana seems to work for me..maybe beacuse I am at the begining of the cluster ..guarana can be found here in the states in that vitamin water (energy+ guarana) if somebody try it let me know. 32oz at day

  • I am a woman and get clusters seasonally to the day and more like clockwork.. It is is rarer in females.

  • 36 yr sufferer tryed everything .1992 found ergotomine with caffine (Cafergot) the instant you feel that little tingle in you tempel or 3 times a day .Its a Miracle

  • Ergotamine is forbidden to my by my doctor. So, or he is wrong, or you are not a C.H. sufferer or ergotamine work in one way to some people and in another way to another people. and now I am confused.

  • Ergotamine did'nt do shit for my CH.

  • I tried everything: triptan in all form (imigran was the only for me) oxigen, cold terapy, lidocaine, magnesium... and other many terapy. This year a SUB-allucinogin dose of LSD. Well, breaked up the cluster (cronic suffer) and it's 9 mounth I HAVEN'T THE HEADHAKE. I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E

  • the night I had the metasergina (and a week afeter the lsd25) I felt 2 attacks (the lsd effetct sub-allucinogic took 12 hours) raise but stay at the botton of KIP. Then 1 attack (a shadow) then NOTHIN. The first time AFTER 12 FUCKED YEARS, it's seems HEAVEN for me and you know what I mean to raise a remission period (9 mounth at all at today)

  • My husband is 47 and suffers clusters. His Dr. gives him bottles of lidocaine (numbing agent) and with a syringe he takes about 2cc, removes the needle and squirts it into his nostril with his head tilted back. It is cheaper than imatrex and I suspect it is virtually the same ingredient. It usually gets rid of the headache pretty quickly and doesn't cost and arm and a leg. Also, Verapamil seems to help.

  • exactly like me. Sorry you have it too.

  • my friend's fiance suffers from this; he feels so utterly helpless when they happen, all he can do is be there for her until it's over. she has no medical insurance so... no treatment at all. I heard someone mention NHS, is that the healthcare service in the UK? We need something like that here.

  • sufferer here too in the UK, in week 4 now, 2-4 attacks a day. Im aborting most attacks within 5 minutes by using Sumatripan Succinate injections, only I take apart the cartridges and take out only the glass syringe and use a matchstick to administer only half the dose. This way I can abort 4 attacks a day safely within NHS dose guidelines. Sometimes it only half works and the pain is eased somewhat. But thats gotta be better than a full on attack which drives you to the edge of insanity.

  • i have now suffered with clusters for 10 years.has any one ever had the 2,3,4,5 in the morning attacks?or has any felt like a shotgun to the side of the head is better than suffering with the pain of an attack.please tell me i am not the only one who feels like this

  • someone get a gun! You are not alone, the f.....s wake me up as soon as I fall asleep. 30 yr sufferer

  • i tried to finish it but it didnt happen...and now everyone is pissed at me...makes me laugh now...was like 1 year ago...it made me realise that people dont have a clue....if you have never felt the full pain of a CH then you will never understand...

a guy some where on here said hes a 30 year suffer....id really like to know how....im only into my 3rd year and ill be suprised if i last many more....

    best hope to all/.

  • Hey fellow Clusterheads, Oxygen works for me about 75% of the time. Get a 12litre tank of O2, a pressure regulator, a 15 metre tube and a sure-flo mask, crank it up to 15 litres per minute and breathe nothing but O2 for 10 minutes. I also had a food-intolerance test (IGg4 Allergens) a few years ago and since then have avoided mustard like the plague. It seemed to help for a while. Current attack is not as bad as previous ones. I guess what I want to say is: there's hope. Don't give up.

  • It is so hard to witness. I feel so helpless when I watch my husband go through this. It's like this huge monster moves into the house and takes over everything for a month.

Wish they could do more for CH.

    onekgguy's wife.

  • i agree to what you say, it´s so unreal to see the one you love to have this pain, useless i feel when my man has this terrible pain. no one understands what it´s like.

  • Mine started 15 years ago. I've been luck and just had three years off, but they're back - and intensifying. I kinda hoped that there had been some 'medical advances' for CH treatment in the interim, but I guess not. I'll just keep doing the CH dance and try not to hit my head too hard against a brick wall.

  • wtf, why isnt the cameraguy helping him?

  • Because there is nothing that can be done about it.

  • Thre is nothing anyone can do I know from my own experience , no one can help the guy , I just hope for him he is now in a pain free paeriod, is the worst thing you can imagine, (luckily it seem I have finished my cycle and I hope it will not come bak in quite a good time. All the best to the ones who have it,

  • Whats the point in coming here just to give him a hard time ? he is in enough pain as it is ! prick

  • Disturbing but not on his own

Just had my 3rd of the day, my newest way is crunch pain or medication tablets till there a powder tip it in redbull, and sink it fast, carbonated liquid enters the bloodstream faster and taurine also helps but to long too post here....oh and i pray to any god thats listening,i also do the ch dance quite well, peace to you all

  • See a lot of people going down the cold water treatment route, has anyone tried hot water treatment, hot water bottle on side of head, also press it against the eye, could just work for me but got to be worth a try

  • Oh thank god my sumatriptan is kicking in right now...watching other people suffering while I'm having a clusterheadache seems comforting. No, I don't cowar like people on youtube when i have one. I just sit and take it

  • I too suffer from cluster headaches. i'm 22 yrs old and have suffered since i was 15. To answer the guy down there... the pain doesnt neceserilly get worse, but different cluster periods bring different pains. I am currently in one of the worst i've been in for a couple years. it's affecting both sides of my head each time not just 1, and the pain is undescribable...

  • I have tried many pain reliefs to no affect, have tried herbal remedies too... anything i can to try n bring the pain down... and oxygen never worked for me. All i use is a lot of ice water to drink usually 2-3 pints each headache, a cold, wet flannel (face cloth) and 4Head a herbal rub on stick. in america n canada 4Head is not available but u do have a thing called HeadOn... similar thing, i suggest...

  • (personal experience only) that u buy 4Head or the trongest form of HeadOn and apply liberally to head, then hold the cold, wet facecloth on top of that.... sends a freezing feeling into ure head and, for me, really does ease the pain a bit. Always carry 4Head with me wherevere i go. I hope this really does help someone, because i know what these fuckin headaches are like its now 6pm and ive literally just had my 3rd headache today already.

  • Christ, and I thought migraines couldn't be rivalled.

    Nasty luck there, dude.

  • I've been doing this for over 10yrs stay strong bro you are not alone....pain free wishes

  • 100 times worse than the worst migraine.
