Martin, I'm getting a square neck resonator for christmas and am determined to learn the slide style playing on it. I really enjoy all of your videos and think your playing is beautiful. I'm currently looking at a gibson deluxe hound dog, but for a couple more hundred I could get a gold tone beard signature. What do you think? Also, how should I go about learning without a personal instructor? Any recommendations on books or dvd's that could steer me in the right direction? Thanks a lot!

I just tried string bending and it barely goes up one

semitone when it touches the next string. Do I need

different gauge strings?
