I just finished rewatching the first 2 seasons of Angel and I loved Kate! Even though it continued to be great after Elisabeth left, the last half of season 2 totally feels her absence. How cool would it have been if she had stuck around, maybe joined Angel Investigations?

I sometimes wonder how Joss would of done with her character had she not gone over to Law & Order. Because that's the reason for Kate's sudden departure from the show. Would she have joined Angel Investigations? Probably, but most likely Joss and the writers came together to pen together a story that will wrap up her character as much as they could before she went to Law & Order.
