  • Hey guys, great film, really liked the way you guys shot it and the guy in the black shirt was the best actor :). Also liked the sound.

Just a small thing, you spelled "you're next" wrong on the glass. Will check out the rest o your videos. Cheers.

  • @Sky777 Hey thanks :) Hahah yeah I realized that after a while when the movie was released, good eye lol. Thanks again!

  • what ISO was it set at?

  • @lordifrit1 It varied throughout the movie. We used different ISO ranges for differently lit scenes.

  • lil wayne is the killer "he comes out in beast mode!"

  • and the "I think mosquitoes like chocolate" line cracked me up hahaha

  • @writefromwithin LOL!!

  • Hey man did you use after effects for a lot of the effects ? I just downloaded after effects cs5 and I'm trying to learn it. I have a 60D. Any sites you'd recommend for tutorials that show how to edit audio ?

  • Good film! Only thing that put me off is the cop didn't look legit.

  • @RomanKing18 Yeah but remember we're not Hollywood :) we try to make the best with what we have, but thanks I appreciate your comment!

  • How long did it take y'all to film this whole thing...i also subscribed! i have a 550d also but i do music videos i'll try a short film later on. Big Ups to you guys though!

  • @bbllaakkee5460 This was one of my first short films and it took about a month and a half to do everything from shooting and editing. And thanks, glad you liked it man. We'll be posting new videos up soon. I started off the same way, I used a T2i and shot only music videos and then I got into short films.

  • I look like Michael Vick and you look like Tiger Woods! ROTFL!

What the fuck was that? LMAO!

  • @iENT3RTAIN LOL you know we had to add in some comedy :D

  • Great Production bro.

  • @JOSHBOBMUSIC Thank you man, I really appreciate your feedback.

  • sony vegas ? ..adobe ?

  • @tgyoungin1 Adobe Premiere & After Effects.

  • well made, BUT there's nothing "short" about a 39 min. film.....Those lazy film festival screeners

will take one look at the running time and not even bother to watch.

  • @conewells Yeah that is true but thanks, to me it's still a short film since it's nowhere near to being full length.

  • LOOL glad they made some black jokes on them selves, goes to show these guys can make humour disrespecting themselves, very smart made me laugh but i was like fuck hope that dont make me racist lol

  • @lordifrit1 Hahah you just gotta look at it like everyone is equal it doesn't matter what color you are.

  • @ICEx03 Yeah exactly!!! finally someone who can take some banter and be cool about it. My black mate pretends to get mad when i ask to borrow a black pen and he goes why not a blue pen? I know hes joking but jokes like that i could get stabed for if another black guy was thinking he was genuine haha keep up the great videos man! i subbed

  • @lordifrit1 Hahah that's funny. I hear that all the time. Thanks man!!! Check out our release of the movie "The Bet" I just released it on my page. Take care bud.

  • @ICEx03 yeah i seen it! the action shots are great, LOL had to laugh how typical it was a asian guy going bruce lee on everyones ass haha great shots tho

  • @lordifrit1 LOL thanks bro.

  • buy a steadycam . do more cameramovement. and you will be amazed of results

  • @whitemsk I liked the glidecam, I think it's better in my opinion but I sold it because I was too tired of always having to balance it every time I changed a lens.

  • Great camerawork, good plot, horrible acting.

  • @ThePissyNoob I do agree with you.

  • Yoo how did u get to upload a video thats 40mins?

  • @DBHMedia You have to be either a YouTube Partner or have an account for a certain amount of time and not have any strikes against it.

  • he didn't take a showerr ? O.o

  • I watched 40 seconds of it and was instantly interested..very good job.

  • @TheBTBproduction Thank you for taking the time :)

  • Did you use any lighting?

  • @TheCoFreshShow Not really, only one LED light outside was used but other than that, no lighting was used inside on our part only natural lighting.

  • @ICEx03 Thanks

  • Man this movie is great cant wait to see more im subscribed!

  • @TheCoFreshShow Thanks, I appreciate that!!

  • how many cameras did you use to film this?

  • @TheCoFreshShow Just one T2i.

  • Hah I actually watched the whole thing ok? I don't usually do.

Its funny though how you used the mgs4 soundtrack. lol its good but its from something else so to be honest with you people that have heard mgs4's soundtrack kind of spoils it ;)

Otherwise this short film was excellent

  • Its crazy that this film looks so professional and its not even on the big screen

  • @alexzracer2008 Thanks man, I appreciate your comment, hopefully you subscribe to see more :)

  • How'd you do the blood in this film? Thanks, movie was awesome!

  • @YupImBatman Are you talking about the special effects blood? Thanks!!!

  • @ICEx03 No i mean the blood on the floor in the bathroom when the black guy dies.

  • @YupImBatman Oh we bought fake blood from a Halloween store. They had a whole can of it.

  • awesome video ~ where do you get your ambient sounds? i'll be waiting for a sequel :p

  • @MrKuuichi Thanks man :] I used some from Video Copilots collection and the rest were from Google search. Awesome, it'll be twice as long as this one :D

  • Wow really really good.. Let ask do you prefered the t2i over the 60d? cause i'm trying to get a dslr and i see you used both..

  • @ticnology Thanks man! Actually it all depends on you. I'm really picky about my footage and production, so I had to spend the extra money for the extra features the 60D has. I would really recommend it. It's got everything you need for filming. The swivel screen, manual audio controls, more selectable ISO range. It's packed with features that the T2i does not have. I actually sold my T2i to get the 60D as my second camera next to my 5D mark II. Hope this helps man!! Take care.

  • @ICEx03 wait for a new 5d or a new 7d. canon will have new models coming out soon.

  • @DRPraeuner Exactly. I'm actually really anxious for them to come out with the 5D3. But if it doesn't come out by next year then I'm going for the 1Dx. It's the newest and best DSLR, Canon has made yet. It's being released in March 2012.

  • That was a good movie bro but like the scythe was outta nowhere haha

  • @FuckLegit Yeah it was Halloween so we felt like using it LOL

  • IS THAT A HOOD COP...LMAO

  • Man yall gotta auh neighborhood BUSTO....LMAO~!!!

  • Love it!

  • How do you give the video that creepy scary dark look? other then filming at night if you know what i mean?

  • @AmuseMeJasmin I just play with the color correction in post for the type of film that I shoot.

  • @ICEx03 which one camera is better 550d or 600d ?

  • @SunnyShawFilms Do you mean the 60D?

  • @ICEx03 no 60d is another one, im talking about canon 600d, it is released in 2011

  • @SunnyShawFilms Oh, I actually haven't looked into it. I'll have to check it out & see.

  • yes sir nice very nice job peace

  • This is amazing! So well made! THIS NEEDS MORE VIEWS!

  • @Lishy1996 THANK YOU :)

  • I loved it! Except the bloody mirror says "your next" instead of "you're". But hey, whatever! xD. Great video guys.

  • @TheWitOfRavenclaw Thanks bud! Hey your absolutely right though, I don't mind that criticism. It helps me remember next time, even about the littlest things. Cheers bro!

  • @ICEx03 Also, the acting was REALLY good. I forgot to mention that in my first comment! It held my attention the entire film.

Btw, you used to use a Vixia HV20/30 right? Would you recommend it?

  • @TheWitOfRavenclaw I appreciate that man. I would say the acting was good as well, considering the fact that this whole movie was freestyled & not scripted lol. Otherwise the acting was terrible in my opinion if this was scripted ya know lol. Actually I use a HV40 and I still own it, I love that camera. I would recommend it over the HV20 & 30 because it has the Native 24P that most filmmakers love using.

  • @ICEx03 THIS HAD NO SCRIPT? I can't believe that! That just added to the greatness. Thanks for the help with the camera, too!

  • @TheWitOfRavenclaw Nope, we just went along as we filmed and thought of ideas which lead to a lot of arguments and fights lol, it was a disaster filming this horror film but in the end it was worth it. Anytime man, let me know if you need any other advice, I'm willing to help! By the way, I hope you stick around cause we're in the process of shooting the sequel to this film and it's gonna be a lot better and scripted of course :)

  • @ICEx03 Oh, I'm definitely going to stick around! I subscribed!

  • @TheWitOfRavenclaw Awesome :D

  • quick question, in the beginning is that natural light and no gel in the room with the girl getting killed???

  • @captainrhodes83 The beginning where the girl dies, the light was coming from only the lamp.

  • Thank you so much peoples!

  • Very well done! Good job, guys!

  • @jjbuddy0578 Thank you man, really appreciate it!!

  • 14:13 what the fuck was that!!!!

  • Ay where the muthafuckin' rice crispy treats at nigga!?

  • Very good, I am a visual effects artist check out my channel if you ever want or need any vfx let me know maybe we can work something out. really good movie though.

  • @jimmyhat1ful Thanks man. Your work is amazing. I definitely am interested. Message me when you can!

  • wasnt exactly a short film, more like medium, still good ;)

  • @ShitbagsGroup Yep your right but there's no other name for it lol. It's either full length or short film. BTW Thanks :]

  • svaka cast, nista od ovoga bez zemljaka ;)

  • @majkansrb Hvala :]

  • I'm buying a t2i this month and I'm excited to start doing some skits and short films with it. This has given me more inspiration than you know. I still need to look into buying a boompole mic, but you're seriously a huge influence on my short film making. :)

    Great job!

  • @ChristopherClever Well thank you man. It's much appreciated :] If you ever need any tips or info just shoot me a message and I'll be glad to help you out. But I would like to say this, I highly suggest the Canon 60D instead of the T2i. One you have a swivel screen and also the ability to disable AGC (automatic gain control). I sold my T2i and replaced it with a Canon 60D. It's worth the extra money, but that's just my suggestion. Have a good one bro.

  • @ICEx03 Yes, I am on a budget, however. Somewhere down the line, I will probably upgrade to the 60d. A friend of mine uses one for his skateboard videos and it seems pretty amazing. But like I said, budget. :)

  • @ChristopherClever Yeah your exactly right. I was on a budget too when I bought my T2i. I understand what you mean. But make sure when you buy the T2i that you buy good lenses because the kit lens that comes with that camera is horrible. I'd say buy the body and then buy your own separate lens. Just a tip :)

  • @ICEx03 Got a cheap one right now, the Canon 50mm f1.8. Better than the kit at least, as far as focal point goes. I'm upgrading from a Rebel XT, so i already had the lens! Any advice on the sound and how to get decent quality?

  • @ChristopherClever That's a good one. The kit lens is a F5 and it's not good at all, especially in low light. But yeah I would recommend the Rode Videomic for your DSLR, it's what I use but I've recently started re-recording all of my sound separately in the studio. I used the Videomic as my reference sound and then I take my actors into the studio and we record everything with high-end microphones over the original audio.

  • Just watched this at12;25 am and now I cant sleep..thanks

  • @noobie1890 It can't be that scary lol

  • @noobie1890 you're 14 the movie is rated R

  • @alexzracer2008 Your point is?

  • Great job guys, i'm here in Brazil just enjoying this nice job ... Thanks ...

  • @edsonfeltrin Thank you for watching :)

  • awesome. what kind of a steadicam did you use?

  • @soundbeans We used the Glidecam HD-1000.

  • Great job..Question how did you compress the video to get 40 minutes on youtube, and not lose any quality??

  • @Riel2ReelFilms Thanks! Honestly I didn't do much compression at all. I used the same bit-rate that the original footage had and the final size of the film was 14GB. I gave the film to one of my good friends who had 10MB upload speed and I was able to get it up on YouTube under 8 hours.

  • Hey man I will begin in cinematography late this summer, any tips for a rookie? Lighting, Software(PC user), and equipment? I am thinking of buying the T2i as well, for these 2 reasons. Cheap, good for a starter.

  • @humbert0acevedo As far as lighting, I haven't been taught that myself. I start school for filming in September. I use a PC too. Make sure you have a fast one cause you will need to render out a lot of footage. At least a quad core processor with 3.5ghz and 4 GB of ram. Yeah the t2i is good for a starter but I would recommend the t3i because it has a swivel screen or maybe even the 60D because it has the swivel screen and manual audio controls and that's very important.

  • yo that was bananas all on a T2i? i just got one recently I'm a audio dude but i wanna do film this is mad inspirational

  • @RYAKINRIP I appreciate that! Yeah it was all with the T2i. Lol your on the same path as me. I was into audio but switched over to film, it's way more fun. Here's the good thing, since you know a lot about audio, when you go into film, sound quality is more important than video quality so it's a good thing you know how to deal with audio, cause it can really help you out.

  • Very Good! :)

  • Great fim. What is the suspense music right at the beginning of the movie?

  • @BRAKEPK I just used some suspense music I found on the web, it's nothing particular.

  • @ICEx03 Oh faire enough, thanks a lot :D

  • did you film this in 24p?

  • @LastChill Of course. And for the picture in the beginning, you can find those all over the web but you may have to do some slight changes to it in PhotoShop to have it look the way you want.

  • where did you find the opening picture that shows that the movie is rated r?

  • @jb0yTV Lol you don't wanna know bro. I run a really fast CPU but even still, to export the entire movie out of After Effects it took me around 5-6 hours. Now to upload to youtube it was going to take me exactly 35 hours. So I didn't even bother doing that with my internet speed, so I gave the the entire movie to one of my friends who had 15mbps upload speed and it took him around 7 hours to upload it for me so that was the only way I was able to get it up on youtube lol.

  • Great movie

  • @DaSpotStudios Thanks for watching man

  • what did you guys use for sound? i know u use the boom pole thing..and the rode videomic...but is there anything else to use for sound?

  • @shapman87 Nope that was it. For the sound effects and music, those were done in post-production.

  • is the canon 50mm lens a good lens how do u find it and also the fhe glidecam is that good aswell

  • @africanhotty23 The 50mm is good if your taking pictures. If you like to film a lot then you should look at apertures more which is the F stops. It gives you better performance in low light. You can find all of these things on eBay.

  • After I watched it... IT GOT BETTER!!! Lol, I look like Michael Vick, you look like Tiger Woods... What we gone go to jail... I'm on Probation! LOL - Overall I would tone down on the the Profanity and shoot for good story lines and better lighting, and I'll deff keep watching!!!

  • @JoshuaBeeLoved I totally agree with you. I tried to tell them to keep the profanity down but they kept freestyling with profanity. I wanted to sit down and write a script for the movie so then we knew what to say but everyone wanted to just freestyle it and skip what took the longest. I myself would criticize this movie and say that the dialogue is terrible just because of all the bad language, and I also kept telling them, people aren't going to like it because of all the profanity in it.

  • Definitely not a fan of all the motherfucking, and nigga, and bitches! There's a way of using profanity in short films, and have it actually come out decent written. I'm sorry but this gives us a bad name.

  • @32:29 those sure look like official police shoes.

  • Tight

  • Whoa nice! How much time did you guys spent to make this movie?

Gratz from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

  • @phaquino9459 Thank you! It took us 5 days to film the entire movie. Then all the post-production like special effects, sound and putting all the angles together took me a couple of weeks.

  • Man DAMN GOOD JOB!! I enjoyd this

  • @reggiebrownvideos Thanks man! I appreciate it.

  • just like the pros. filming and editing is great.the cinematography is big studio quality.even the acting is good. i'm impressed. loved nicky marie.

  • just like the pros. filming and editing is great.

  • whew..! sO scary.. suspense..! grEat mOviE... i enjOy watching.. mOre mOvies.. :)

  • @EmanBasMusic Thanks for watching :]

  • 13:30, 14:14 funny shit lmao

31:52 - Appearance of the pointy nosed fuck lmao

Okay now WTF doe, lol why was he killin' niggaz I'm mad confused...

  • @DaKidAwMe Well we didn't really describe his character much, it was like a mystery. That's one reason why it was only 40 minutes and considered a short film.

  • @DaKidAwMe Gabe sure knows how to scream like a girl, huh?

  • MANNN WE STR8 HOLLYWOODIN IT!!! SHIT DOPE

  • Scary! :D

Svidja nam se film.Ovi crnci dobro glume :))
