40 years ago Che guevarra wen't to New york for a wolrd-wide Finnance-Ministers meeting, he stated during the meeting that the fall of Capitalism wase near and America would soon fall in to poverty.
40 years later, Che guevarra is dead, Cuba is a miserabul country, the Soviet union is gone, and America is still the most powerful country in the wolrd
Wrong. The issue is not about not enough money, its just not enough production aka real goods.
Try throwing a pile of paper dollars on a 'natural' island with like 100k inhabitants and see how the 'purchasing power' will speed up their economy, when there is no production at all :)
You always sound this naive? If people aren't working, and not making enough to make ends meet. People are more likely not to consume. Considering most people's incomes are going into rising healthcare and housing costs. But trying to convince you of that would be obsolete. And you go on ahead in believing whatever you want to believe. As far as the depreciating value of the dollar goes. That has a lot to do with the diminishing purchasing power of consumers.
Capitalism is a rotting log, one we must seek to dispose of and recycle to prepare for socialism, and then finally to communism. remove your fear of "red revolutionaries", they are a people driven by a love of their people, whose mission is always to better the world they live in. These men are the men closest to true freedom, and we must stand beside the red banner if mankind is ever to emerge from this final crisis. Down with capitalism. Down with inequality. Viva la revolucion y la libertad.
The incoming administration is trying to introduce legislation to steer us back toward being a strong capitalist country by taking some pressure off the middle class put in place by Bush. This is not socialism. In Socialism there is no middle class. Bush nearly destroyed our capitalism by engaging in war corporatism and deregulating certain areas of our economic system essential to maintaining a free market and if he had it his way there would be no democratic republic. Keep Jeb out!!
I don't know why some people keep this fear to socialism and what it might be. The process that worldwide society is suffering now makes us wonder id there's a posibility of change, and I honestly think capitalism is worn.
I believe predatory capitalism has ran it's course. It had a 230 year run in this country. And it's in the process if wearing itself out. It's a primitive and obsolete system. It needs to be dispose of, for the sake of humanity. Too many people are hurt and seen their lives destroyed as a result of this economic system.
Why doesn't Bush have a magic wand? Did someone take it from him? Apparently he would use it if he had it.
Now lets take the concept of tactical nuclear weapons. He's gots 'em, lots of 'em. Won't take any military option off the table with Iran. I say, please give Bush his magic wand back.
Yeah, but the consumers are retarded and will fling monkey poo at people who try to help them. That's the mistake people like Ralph Nader make, treat people as if they're better than they are, and they're just not.
We need a Robin Hood president. Tax the rich more to give more to the growing poor - not in the form of welfare (only if the poor are working) AND - Raise minimum wage to $10.00/hour
so if someone is born into poverty and doesn't have the opportunities as a child as a child who grows up into the upper class, that's all they deserve. What about when inflation is so high, that 7.50 isn't enough to pay rent and buy food to survive? That's 15,000/year income BEFORE tax. Now tell me, exactly how does one live on that? Is that what capitalism is about?Serfdom? It is no different than the days of lordships and manors in England, except the peasants were guaranteed food/shelter.
and, yes that may be socialism - SO WHAT?, but is it the distribution of wealth right? What makes sense in a capitalistic society when 75% of the wealth lies in 10% of the population? And the middle class is becoming poor due to inflation? So what about when your job is paying you $50,000 a year and it was plenty 10 years ago, but what if you can't afford to live on $50,000 anymore. Your money is being taken from you and put into the hands of the rich.
37-38K per year might be alright in the middle states but it is doodly on the coasts. you need to make at least 90k per year to live in Manhattan. the cost of living is different everywhere.
Am I wrong in suggesting that $37-38K a year, while certainly not a private yacht in the Mediterranean wage, is at the very least not poverty and a wage upon which any reasonable person capable of budgeting could get by on? True, there may be few luxuries on such an income, but I'm pretty sure I could live relatively well on that wage.
Very subjective and unprofessional display of left-wing anti-American ideas. Instead of doing this useless non-objective dirty talk, they could have said something USEFUL.
