  • if u want to know how anarchism works inside a group of people...look for info. on the Spanish revolution.....specially in Cataluña.......it'll probably give you an idea...or read some writings from Buenaventura Durruti(spanish anarchist militant in the spanish revolution)....to me it's nice to hear an american band talk about social issues, politics and a movement that looks for change in a country where most people are xenophobic, skeptic and consumists....personally ...GOOD SONG!!!

  • There's no real way to live to avoid corruption. I personally think Anarchy can't work but I know that with a government there will never be a truly "free nation". Only thing you can really do is pick a side and try to better it.

  • @Sav3TheWorld There is no justice when it is governed by one, or a group of people. I like anarchy better.

  • The only thing that works is anarchy, and how can you say they are political idiots??? They have opinions ya know. The only political idiots are the fucking super conservative, christian assholes.

  • @modernwarfreak What happens to the whole justice system, schools and healthcare for everyone if anarchy would be the "goverment"??

  • good song, but political idiots

  • True freedom is Justice, not anarchy.

  • @Sav3TheWorld I like this approach. Freedom in itself is useless unless enjoyed by all, as it is said.

  • "Too many heartbeats lost in the NEW WORLD ORDER"

  • True freedom is disorder.

  • @Alongdirtanddebri777 Very true.

  • Going to see these guys play at Riot Fest in 6 days! :D

  • that reminds me on rise against ^^

  • Maybe The Most Sincere Band Nowadays.

    Thnx. For The Music.

    Thnx. For The Strenght.

  • @Gman15765 No thanks for the spell check

  • @eveon1301920

    Please Fuck Off And Die.

    Thnx.

  • @Gman15765 No thanks for capitalizing every word.

  • Anarchists, comunists, socialists who gives a fuck!? The important thing is that there shit.

  • trendy? no. they are unique

  • Liberal, no, Ready to stand up to the new world order? Yes.

  • @kingxskippy It doesn't. At all.

  • @punkCDsampler

I think so, it sounds like some of that Screamo shit.

    Or "Post Hardcore"

Lol, I still like them though.

  • @kingxskippy it really doesnt at all. theres so much energy in their music and their guitar melodies are unique and tight as fuck.

  • @kingxskippy they've been copied by a lot of trendy bands (namely Rise Against)

  • @hobbitcore Rise Against and Strike Anywhere both started in '99, and they've toured together. They're my two favorite bands. Other than both being political melodic hardcore with dynamic vocalists, different beasts. They don't have the exact same politics, and they have completely different approaches to lyrics. They handle the vocals a bit differently too.

  • @kingxskippy It sounds to me like the melodic hardcore that was coming out of the east coast in the 90s early 2000s with its own twist, everything gets trendy when someone rips it off

  • @apathyisignoranc If you knew the history of the members of this band, you'd know that these guys WERE melodic hardcore and punk rock from the 90s. This band actually started around 98/99. I hope youre not insinuating theyre ripping anyone off. Its others that rip these guys off, they've been at it awhile.

  • @kingxskippy I guess melodic=trendy.

  • @kingxskippy trendy? fuckin hipster.

  • Beautiful!

  • R.I.P Fat Wrecked :3

  • @bsterguitar You really can't blame them though, they joined a large record label, the fact that their song lyrics haven't lost their significance generally shows that they are devoted to what they stand for.

  • @bsterguitar i saw them together; strike anywhere is much better =)

  • not bad at all

  • @bsterguitar Well, of course they changed a bit and ATR IS soft compared to stuff like The Unraveling or RPM, but as long as the lyrics don't change into some stupid words without message, I'll call myself a fan.I don't like every single song, but I couldn't say that they made a shitty album [not when there are songs like Collapse, Kotov Syndrome or Historia Calamitatum]. Maybe they just wanted to try out something different, we won't know for sure before the next album.

  • @bsterguitar Always the same discussion. So Rise Against showed a softer side of their music, what's the problem? That doesn't mean that they just do it for money. I can't tell you or anyone else to like them.I don't want to do that. But it's sad, that a band can't enjoy trying out something different without being accused of doing it for the commerce. C'mon - be true - listen to bands that don't even exist. [Well, and just to calm you down - I like Strike Anywhere.Very, very much.]

  • I rly love the first 7 seconds of the song ;P don't know why but the rythm he "sings" totally rocks even if it's simple ^^

  • ive seen them yesterday at spackfestival ;D awesome!

  • Good music stand up guys. Much love for strike anywhere in Australia.

  • going to see them today<3

  • @0Rule i agree with that. rise against is something very special. theyre talented and i like their music more than strike anywhere. but that doesnt make strike anywhere a bad band. its very good too.

  • @0Rule enjoy your new nickelback rise against.

  • @TextEffect

Iiberal as the in the sense of Democracts? :D Hope you didn't mean that, as that would be such a humiliation to this band heh.

Most of these political punk bands could be considered "leftists". If somebody talks about a "liberal" it makes me think of right wing neo-liberals such as the Democrats (or in the extreme, the Republicans). Leftism rather incoporates anarchism, socialism, true feminism, ecologism... anti-capitalism pretty much.

  • The New World Order is global corporate imperialism, all (real) punk bands are against it. Some conspiracists on the right try to make it out to be something else but that's what it actually is, it's also known as globalization

  • Until The Last Lock Breaks None Of Us Are Free!

  • @reminiscentmorte I'm pretty sure he says law not lock.

  • great!

  • One of the Best Songs of all time...Love It

  • love this song!

  • They're not liberals. Thomas told me in an interview that he's a platform anarchist.

  • @punkCDsampler Yeah, and the lyrics are pretty clearly anarchist. Always surprised when people don't know they're anarchists. Shows how much people actually LISTEN to music.

  • @punkCDsampler What's with the socialist imagery, did they not have a say in designing the album cover?

  • @GilbertSmith Maybe they're socialists or communists?

  • @punkCDsampler Then I guess that means they're not anarchists.

  • @GilbertSmith I don't really want to get technical in youtube comments, but anarchists strive to create communism, so you could call an anarchist a communist. Either way, it's their beliefs and I'm sure they change. I interviewed him about 2 years ago, this album came out much before then.

  • @punkCDsampler No they don't. Anarchists don't strive to create anything, they strive to be free of any governmental rule be it democracy, fascism or communism. Anyone who claims to be both a socialist and an anarchist understands the meaning of neither.

  • @GilbertSmith It's true that the difference between a 'socialist' and an 'anarchist' may be considered the extent to which they embrace or reject the role of the state to achieve social outcomes. But the desired end state of communism for Marx, at least, was essentially an anarchist utopia, with local cooperation without any external authority, so it would be entirely consistent for an 'anarchist' to strive to advance the communist process (if neglecting recent history!)

  • @Maradobbo while what you said it true about communism ending without a government, no communistic government has had this happen, so i agree with your statement but I still think in this way anarchist means just lack of government without the completion of communism

  • @ThePandasFly Anarchist communism (also known as anarcho-communism and occasionally as free communism) is a theory of anarchism which advocates the abolition of the state, markets, money, private property, and capitalism in favor of common ownership of the means of production...

  • @GilbertSmith Trendy? Aren't YOU cool for doubting the sincerity of others. That's never been done before. Ugh. Strike Anywhere has been anarchist since it started in '99, and they still are.

At any rate, you don't seem to know much of anything about socialism, communism, or anarchism. Even a simple Google query for any of those terms would do you wonders. Try this one: 'libertarian communism'. Then, you might wanna get your foot nice and seasoned. =/

  • @punkCDsampler But yeah, I imagine they go with whatever political belief is trendy at the time, so whatevs.

  • @punkCDsampler Which is why it is kind of funny that people would call them Liberals -- because the principals of platformism support federalism, just like Conservatives.

  • Comment removed

  • @Globalsedition Well, federalism isn't inherently conservative. o_o

  • @Globalsedition Conservatives in the U.S support federalism. In Colombia, conservatives go for a much more centralised approach. What is conservative for one, may be liberal for others.

  • No, not new world order.......... just Bush

  • I've seen these guys 3 times in Chicago haha
