@zw0ecool Actually the first man to prove the Earth was round was the ancient Greek Scientist Eratosthenes (276–194 BC), he also accurately calculated the circumference of the Earth, it's a common misconception that people thought the Earth was flat, they didn't from about 6th century BC but proved it only in 240 BC.
