@shoyur I dont know where you got yours, but i have one and it is wonderful. It even went through the wash and with the simple rice trick and and power reset, it was still working as if it never touched the water. I would actually promote buying one of these. They are very simple and produce excellent quality music and radio.

@crimsonxXxeagle666 i dont want to counter your critic, but the fact that i didnt break after being wet is just normal, all electronic products of that kind/size all have varnish on the pcb and protection diode for shortcuts. thats not a plus, and the music quality on most mp3 players (exclude noname crap) only depends on the earphones and the file quality since they all use the same 2 mp3/wav chip anyway.

After searching for the bugs i had, many many websites were saying the same thing... dunno

Hi I have one of these...but I hooked up to my car deck it works fine... but the only problem is that it only reads from sansa express memory not the microSD? it wont read the MicroSD but the memory from the internal not external? help please can you send me a message to my account instead of replying because it gets lost... help please

Plug it in. You will then see it show up as a storage device. Simply drop your audio files into the media folder and you're all set.

Such a great player...shame it is not AAA player.

I do a lot of camping and what have you so a AAA will last where 13 hours isn't enough time for me after 10-14 days.

I bought a Sansa Express refurb for about 17 dollars and I love it. I don't care for ipods and I was looking for an audio player that was versatile. This player, as well as most Sansa players, is way more versatile than ipod.

Unfortunately my sponsors do not pay for the gear that makes it onto the show. Most of the REALLY nice stuff is on loan from the manufacturers... it has to be sent back after we're done with the review. i have to say this product is amazing, i have owned one, but the expandable memory is not that great. It only works once right after you insert the micro SD. I dont know if that only happened to me but this product is amazing, its simple, affordable and just great.

Can someone explain how the expansion slot works in terms of Music Management? For instance, would all the music on the internal and expansion memory be organized together on the interface alphanumerically, or separately? Would you be able to have, say, your main music saved internally, and be able to switch cards with additional miscellaneous libraries on them?

Well... it's as much a clip as an iPod classic is an an iPod 2nd gen:: same operating system, same basic features, but different style and packaging.

Just as some people love their iPod Nano and hatethe look of, say an iPod Mini or iPod Photo, so will some people absolutely hate the Sansa Clip and immediately like the express --- Marketing is all about giving people what they want, even if what they want is mostly a cosmetic change.

One of the best decisions I ever made was to send my daughter to a high school run by the Jesuits. They have a history of being the intellectual arm of the Church, and the conscience of the Church. Also, they are not shy. If they were the Illuinati, Freemasons, and NWO, and behind every assassination since the 13th century, they would have made sure we knew about it :)

Yup.. the express is pretty sweet. I've seen plenty of "MP3 music stick" type players, but this is the first one that actually seems to be worth its component count. Add to that the fact that it's pretty inexpensive and it's a compelling buy for those who want a solid media player without an inflated price. Peace, Fr. Robert
