Hi folks. I solved part of the "mule" problem. I tried a tip found on the Apple forum. Make a double Hard Reset (start+home button), one after the other... And it worked for me ! @derrickstrange2009 just download the 3.1.3 firmware and restore with itunes...u will get the 1015 error after that go to the iH8sn0w website (google it) and download iReb, it will ask you if you have LibUSB installed (click no) and download LibUSB....now before you install it run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 and install it. after that run iReb again and this time click yes on that previous question...click your version of the iphone and it will then Reboot and u will be on 3.1.3

The 3G doesn't get a few features like backgrounds and multitasking because the hardware won't support it. It's just simply too slow and uncapable. The 3G has a 400mhz processor with 128mb ram. The iPhone 4 has a 1000mhz processor with 512mb ram. That is why things arent available on the iPhone 3G, and if they are, they don't run smoothly

The reason that home screen wallpaper is not available on the iPhone 3G is not down to the actual background image itself, but more down to the drop shadows that sit behind every app icon and the text beneath each app. It's the rendering of these drop shadows that slow the 3G down, not the wallpaper image itself.

I had hoped that Apple would have allowed 3G users to set an image as a wallpaper and left out the drop shadows on apps/text, but we're simply not getting the feature at all.
