  • what is epoxy primer?

  • My friend Pete brought me here! Great channel.

  • wow ok my ? is what do you do if you have a four door sedan and they don't make a quarter skin for it i have a 71 impala sedan and whish some one did a video on the dog legs and ect.. love the vids

  • I have a 69 camaro that I am going to replace the trunk pan and floor pan partials. Do you recommend the car to be on all 4 tires or will it be ok on jack stands or a rotisserie?

  • @The69rscamaro On the suspension would be good.

  • @The69rscamaro I wouldn't recommend putting the car on a rotisserie when removing a lot of panels. You should put it on a body cart where the body cannot move and won't flex. If you're going to go through all the work it wouldn't be cool if it flexed.

  • What's the advantage of sandblasting vs. aircraft paint stripper?

  • @inkspray Don't like much about the paint stripper. I use it once a year, maybe. The stuff is bad for you, your neighbors, your water, etc. and rarely achieves the desired effect.

  • only up to the 1:48 mark and i see why in one of your current video's you mention you you rather the body lift to a rotisserie ,, will keep looking i am trying to see diffident methods of lead fill removal as it might be more work but the old quarter i am trying to remove in one piece as much as possible , do far from the factory there is lead in the sail panel i knew that but there is also lead in the door jam , measure 3x cut once

  • @vcval Door Jamb, rocker. If you can do so safely I recommend filling the seam with lead on the way back together.

  • I like that lift

  • @oldford65 Chief Streamliner it's a frame bench. Sure makes life easy.

  • I have the same model plasma cutter. I love it! I wish I had more steel to cut!

    John

  • @hiltman works good.

  • So I assume there's no chance of bending the chassis on the rotisserie since both 1/4 panels have been removed?

  • @CoolasIce2 Haven't noticed anything.

  • Thanks Jeff.

  • Hey, 3z. I'm Chris. That's my hulk in the video. We had them do just the shell from the firewall back w/o the doors or deck lid and had them skip the roof and rear cowl since the sand would have warped them. We also had it on a rotisserie which saved some time for the guy blasting. One could expect to pay between $350 and $500 with it set up like this, I suspect.

  • What is the ballpark cost for having that sandblasted? Any problems having it done and what should you look out for? Maybe you can give us some tips. Hey I bet you miss the snow in Watertown.

  • nice work that should look good with those zo6 rims
