Im still a bit confused about window managment. for example if i have msn opened but im working on safari, how do i know if someones talking to me? Or maybe I have 3 different safari windows opend and one of those is facebook, how do i notice if someones talking to me on there?

This video is an excellent short video - it would have been 100% perfect if the Mac window being demonstrated was maximised so that I can see the icons and menus being demonstrated clearly on any size screen. Also there were a few terms used in the video which were not explained (cover flow, home folder, side bar and spaces), which is a real shame as it could easily distract you whilst watching.

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm a long-time frustrated Windows user that just purchased an iMac so that I can regain some control over the long hours spent trying to "fix my computer." Funny thing -- I went to the Apple store today (it was packed) and took one of their free courses -- "Getting Started With a Mac," and the person that taught it was Cindy Coffin. Guys i have windows 7 ultimate and i gotta say im sick of it. Next year im buying a macbook full stop. Im just tired of windows and its problems. Mac just seems a waay easier way of life. Its got better apps and all. The games mightnt be there but youve always got boot camp for windows games. :)

i have my new macbook pro since 2 months now and i like it even more than my older windows vista laptop, i have windows 7 in bootcamp just for Steam (games) nothing els. i use OSX the most because it's easy to use, since everything is from mac it runs good (all standard programs installed are made my mac)
