I'm quite tempted to bang my head against a wall myself. i hate this class so much. and i 've been frantically writing stuff on flash cards ALL day and my test is in two days. i need to get that damn 4. warning to anyone thinking of taking this course: STUDY FROM THE MOMENT YOU FIRST STEP INTO THAT CLASS.

I have a midterm on this today, in an hour or so. AND, i have to memorize ALL of the classical civilizations, religions, river valley civilizations, reasons for declines, the significance of all of the civilizations, the geography, the time of events and dynasties, goods traded on silk roads, and expansion of islam. Oh, and the byzantine empire too. I got an F on my first test, and a D on my second test. And now a midterm? Yeah, i don't think i'm going to get a good damn grade on this.

My APUSH class has 1 semester to learn EVERYTHING that a regular class has 1 year to learn, counting this stupid DBQ that is so freakin' hard, my head is going to explode. I'm going to be a History major, but ti is just too much for me.

what's the difference between regular history, and AP history?

@SuperPs3reviewer AP goes over 500 years of history in a year, regular goes through just the 20th century in a year. AP has more reading, more difficult test questions, and an exam at the end.

I took a college U.S. History course and when I saw some of the information he had on his white board on this video it was completely foreign. I passed that class with a 107% and we learned it chronologically. I found it easier to learn because you could visualize in your head the order of presidents involved with various events in history. It was just very striaght forward and not so convoluted like this course seems to be. We hardly wrote essays, only a few. LOTS of quizzes and few tests.

AP US history exam is tomorrow and in no way whatsoever did i study. I'll shit my pants if my AP score comes back as a 2. As far as my US history knowledge is concerned anyway, it's about as good as an 8th grader's so i honestly don't give a fuck about it and i'm probably gonna bibble babble my ass throughout the entire essay/DBQ portion of it :D
