Peter sings better than Paul and Gene. My opinion best of the group. Gene Worst, Ace and Paul Tie. I haven't listened much to kiss after the mid 80's, I loved them in the 70's with this lineup. I was psyched when they all got back together but it fizzled out-- the bridge show in 96 was awesome.

For all of you that hate the "new KISS" Don't go. That leaves better seats for me. Who cares if they're not the originals. They still put on an incredibly entertaining show, and thats what I want for my money.
I wrote a song (If you're going my way let's go) that has two parts: Purple Haze influence, and Parasite influence. I start the second half off with the Parasite guitar riff before Ace tears into his awesome solo. In my opinion, the solo bridge riff is one of the hardest hitting riffs of ALL-TIME!!!
Kiss at it's best! There is no REAL Kiss without Peter and Ace. The raw power and garage aspect of this is awesome. Gene and Paul have something bad against Peter and Ace because anyone with half a brain can see how magical it was with the original four and how pitiful it is with any of the replacements. Gene and Paul don't really care a thing about music, but they used to, this video is evidence of that.
Our "Gene Hatred" is because of the band members he stepped on in order to to enjoy the success he has now. Ace and Peter were the only talented musicians in the band to begin with. If you were a true Kiss fan you would hate all the fill-in members wearing the old makeup too. I guess we see where you stand.

I don't care what anyone says, this is one of the best songs in the history of rock 'n' roll. Hard to top parasite. Gene is a geneious. There are few songs in the last 20 years that can top this one for guts and growl.

I watch videos like this from 1975 and think what people were thinking back then, "Make up and blood and fire? This will never work", and here it is 2011, Simmons is 62 and Paul is like 59, and they are still rock stars, still packing stadiums, still full of energy. They don't have the energy and drive as when they were 25, they are not starving anymore, they are friggin old man, but they still rock for their age. Still the best show on the planet!
Bottom line is people keep coming to the shows and buying records. I have been a fan since 77 and have seen a lot of changes. My first show was the 79 Dynasty tour. I saw them without makeup in 88, and three times since they put it back on in 96. I have not seen the current lineup, although from what I have seen on you tube an other places, they are playing very tight. I always loved Ace & Peter but if they sluff off or become lazy, the show must go on...it is a business. Thats suck but true.

I was VERY fortunate to have a BROTHER who loved ME ! and bought me a ticket to their show in VANCOUVER BRITISH COLUMBIA! it was one of their last shows with their make on ! never forget it still one of the BEST live shows EVER !
They were still hungry to make it at this point. They hadnt made their million dollers yet. Thats why the raw energy and power and hunger to be the best, shows in this clip.
Here again Peter is tremendous. When people say Kiss were not good musicians their really talking out their asses. Nobody`s talking technical players but total musical. Time signature changes in the solo and melodic yet kick ass riffage.Awesome!

I don't care what anyone says, this is one of the best songs in the history of rock 'n' roll. Hard to top parasite. Gene is a geneious. There are few songs in the last 20 years that can top this one for guts and growl.

I watch videos like this from 1975 and think what people were thinking back then, "Make up and blood and fire? This will never work", and here it is 2011, Simmons is 62 and Paul is like 59, and they are still rock stars, still packing stadiums, still full of energy. They don't have the energy and drive as when they were 25, they are not starving anymore, they are friggin old man, but they still rock for their age. Still the best show on the planet!

Bottom line is people keep coming to the shows and buying records. I have been a fan since 77 and have seen a lot of changes. My first show was the 79 Dynasty tour. I saw them without makeup in 88, and three times since they put it back on in 96. I have not seen the current lineup, although from what I have seen on you tube an other places, they are playing very tight. I always loved Ace & Peter but if they sluff off or become lazy, the show must go on...it is a business. Thats suck but true.

@TCOA7 I agree, they havnt changed their music at all. They are still the same musically. Thats all that matters. also, Gene's money grubbing is just a show he puts on. Hes not really THAT into it, you can tell by how he is with his family that he just tries to act cool and tough. KISS is the same as it's always been, the people who complain now remind me of the people who complained about Beth and I Was Made For Lovin You in the 70s. KISS is one of the few bands left that is for the fans.

Gene and Paul nowadays talk crap about how both Erics are better drummers, which as far as technical ability they are, but if you had taken most of the songs from the first 3 albums to them, they wouldn't have been able to do them justice. I mean I love Creatures of the Night and Revenge, but nothing tops the first three albums, they were hungry and Ace and Pete were the best musicians for the material.

They did, however, change the S's in their logo to look more like an S and not the lightning shaped S they usually use.
NEVER have they called themselves KIZZ.
But you are correct about the Schutzstaffel thing. The two S's looked too much like the logo for Schutzstaffel

It may be one of their best songs, but the costumes were so rudimentary early that I don't think that their costumes and make-up really came into its own until Destroyer came along. In my opinion, that was their best album - next to Sonic Boom and Rock And Roll Over

Here again Peter is tremendous. When people say Kiss were not good musicians their really talking out their asses. Nobody`s talking technical players but total musical. Time signature changes in the solo and melodic yet kick ass riffage.Awesome!
