I agree with you. The UFC was actually entertaining years ago before all of this "jiu jitsu/mma" stuff came in. In other words, there were no faggy shorts, and certainly no men laying on top of each other for 10 minutes at a time. The UFC is indeed very gay. However that doesn't seem to stop 14 year old ids from liking it.

And I think your commentary is not uncommon. A lot of people say the same thing, but I think you are subconciously triggering homophobia. Many guys are scared to make any body contact outside of a sports setting because commentaries like this make them think that they will automatically be labeled as gay.

I disagree with you...I think it looks "gay" to people who want it to look gay, but it's really quite violent and takes lots of athleticism. You're really trivialising it. I think labelling it as "gay" just because two guys are touching each other is so obvious and cliche. Do you really think they are going to have sex or something in the changeroom? A lot of martial arts and wrestling requires body contact, and I think it's very unfair of you to label that as gay.
