im thinking of doing this and counting it towards BA in English Literature.
I am a little nervous about the course spread ver a variety of the arts as i am mainly interested in books, writing etc. But hopefully it will open my mind to other aspects and subjects.
i am 18 so will be quite a young OU student but i am optimistic.
anyone know anything about the workload? i have only studied at gcse/college level.

@MissDisMay1989 I have just finished this module and really enjoyed it. It covers a huge spectrum of topics but its a great introduction to any arts degree. I'm going onto to A200 Medieval to Modern day history. Good luck!

Hello everyone on AA100! Now in the prep week and nervously waiting for my first call from my tutor! Can't wait to get going, all looks really interesting. I'm in Hertfordshire and will be going to the Westfield/Watford face to face meetings -anyone else? Also what degree are you going to do? I'm still deciding between Humanities and English. Also got the results from the Openings course I did earlier this year - Achieved! 10 credits down, 350 to go....

I'm starting too... Also finding Faustus a bind, but have discovered an 'overview' section at the back of the set text, which makes it a bit easier! I'm in Sussex too olive... there seem to be a lot of people on the course, so hopefully you'll find lots of local support tiffany :)
