Pioneer DDJ-T1 Video 2 The set up with Traktor

Great video, this is a lot of help to me.

Just recently bought a DDJ-T1 and Traktor Pro 2 (the full software), and although I can mix perfectly without using [sync], I've not been able to do anything else as I didn't know how to use the hot cues/loops properly. I wasn't even aware of the [snap] and [quantize] buttons at the top of the screen (I'm serious).

Have added your DDJ-T1 tutorials to my favourites.

hey mate, i have problem with final ( recorded ) .wav file. It shows me correct file size ( lets say like 150mb) but without any sound ( when i try to play it in any media player ) I tried to switch between audio device settings .. when i put asio4all my mix containts sound, but i cant hear any sound from controller, but with pioneer ddj audio device settings i cant get .wav file with sound. How can i fix that?

Hi, i have been using the ddj for a few months now using traktor pro. i have a quick trouble shooting question. i see in this video that you have all four decks showing in full mixer mode, as well as it is showing what effects you have chosen... i cant figure out how to get the effects to show with all four decks in full mixer view. i have to have decks c and d in mini view mode otherwise it takes them away is there a way i can change this? could someone reply to me at flexo123@hotmail.com thx!

are you using traktor 2 pioneer edition? how did you zoom in on the waveforms to get them scrolling like that? my version only shows the full song. also i dont have any meters? any ideas?

i v aquestion:i upgraded to traktor 2 as you,but there are no (virtual)pitch faders on the program and the synch is always automatic!!!!can i change these settings?????!!!!thanks

Buy yourself a Mac Mighty mouse . Hook it up via bluetooth , no need to lift the unit every time you need to mess with the software parameters .

i just feel that the joy of mixing two records together is being slightly taken away bit by bit mixer by mixer as the time go on.. jus hope the mixer of the future doesnt consist of a ipod and 2 buttons.. be sad times.. Just my opinion

hmm not a fan of the tree system on this as apposed to the good old type in serch its great for a club DJ playing a set but for teh normal mobile DJ that needs to serch and drop a playlist together on the fly to hold requests ect .....looks like dave in the back ground eyeing up Rob as to weather he will make it outta there with the controler :-)
