My father is a singer...has been his entire life. He is now 65, and this song will forever make me think of him as he sang this every St. Patty's as he wandered around the house....I'm so thankful to have his voice to forever live in my heart.
just wanted to say thanks for uploading my grandad died last night-age 91 and he sang this song along time ago from when he was in the war so thank you
I'm in a group of friends who are gushing about the upcoming holiday. But tis a sad day for one lady who lost a friend on St. Paddys. I note that Kitty Foyle looks sad here and doesn't sing. I send my friend a link to this clip in hopes of raising her spirits. In any event, my friends for the most part will be raisin' some spirits on Wednesday. Charlie O'Neil Perry
Until the other day when I saw Thank Your Lucky Stars I didn't even know Dennis Morgan could sing! I loved him in Kitty Foyle and then saw that he could sing and it was VERY exciting!
This handsome Irish actor could always make my heart flutter when I see all of his movies and hear him. I am Irish and this song always brings a tear to my eyes - especially here, too, with all the others singing, too. I love this dear song. Thank you for posting. - Paula
No, it is not from My Wild Irish Rose. The clip is from Tear Gas Squad. There is another clip from the same film You, you darling.I actually have the film.
I had not seen this old movie in quite awhile - thanks to Fox Movies Channel and Turner Classic Movies the old wonderful classics like this one are enjoyable for everyone anymore. The gal here looks a little exasperated with the whole lot of them so I'll have to wait for this movie to be shown again to find out what her problem is - maybe she's not Irish! Thanks Peter for posting this. - Paula
Cute video, he has a great voice. Thanks for sharing. My Mom loved it.

@PaulinaRena He makes my heart flutter too but I don't believe he is actually Irish...his real last name is Morner.

This scene is great. Dennis Morgan has a wonderful voice. I love watching the family warming to him as he sings.

He was unfortunately not given enough credit for his wonderful singing.
Thanks for posting.
