@jacplac97 It's using the half life engine, Goldsrc (or was it havock by then?) so they re-use a lot of things. You would be supised how many sounds in tf2 were recycles from HL2, both source games.

Brings back some old memories I had with this game, grew up playing it basically. The scout was never really a character played too often due to the incredibly low amount of health and armor, not to mention crappy weapons. Sure, you could do some damage, but it did next to nothing to a soldier. I'm glad TF2 changed it drastically where it didn't just make the scout a useless flag capper, but a powerhouse with caution.

TFC definitely required much more skill than tf2 does. Both are great, but very different. Medic's were annoying as hell, infection spam everywhere! Plus healing ppl was annoyng, the medigun is much better.

TF2 and TFC diffirent games man. who was made pyro those guyz drink a lot of vodka and smoking heavy drugs, because he happend like crap -.- he unpowered as well, and spy in TFC cannot be invisible, for check spyes HW best. and play as spy very very easy, just change skin of other team, or tryed to be like you death, no anywill shot you they will think you are already die, after you stay and kill ih as one hit by knife, I don't see nothing hard it it :\

My point is, TF2 improved A LOT of gameplay and also A LOT of graphics, but your nostalgia googles can't let you see that.

FF is great, I just don't like the nades. I didn't like them in TFC either...

I really liked how Valve implemented the classes in TF2. I kinda miss the faster pace from the earlier games but TF2 can still be a skilled game if you play with the right people. On the average pub TF2 players must be some of the most braindead PC gamers ever lol

The old graphics are one of the reasons this game is so great. 'Dumbing' down fast paced games like good ol' TFC with fancy visuals defeats class-identification and more. It's about game play, not jacking off over the visuals.

TFC scout was kinda lame... really low life expectancy, considering their really low health. Not to mention, they didn't enjoy the same kind of maneuverability that the TF2 scout does. Although they are faster than their TF2 counterpart, they lack the double jump to -really- confuse their enemies.

with the new 360 update coming soon you get new weapons for pyro, heavy, and i think the engie update is coming to the 360 (upgrading dispensers and teleporters). And everything else that they patched on the PC version
