not to sound like a dumbass but... i have an edge 3 tremelo on my rg350dx and it has the tremelo stabiliser system or ZP system ......can i still instal the brass block with this stabiliser system ?
I would like to hear the difference of tone between the bridge with the old stock block and the bridge with your new little baby. Obviously, it would be great if we could hear a professionnal micing of the guitar cab for a better comparison. (The cam's mic is not really suitable for that.)
@MarkSDD i have an ibanez with an edge pro. not worth it. buy the original edge. the edge pro goes out of tune every time u use the bar or go in a different room. i almost tore my hair out bc of it
@PikkaBird thats odd. i had the original edge pro that came on the guitar and it was shit. probably bc it was almost 10 years old :P but after that i replaced it with a new one and it was just as bad
@vasilios1994 Did you then eventually put the original Edge on the same guitar, or is that on another one? Sometimes with heavy use the studs will widen the hole they sit in which enables them to wobble just a tiny bit, providing horrible return. The solution is to drill the hole out, dowel it with something sturdy and re-drill.
@MarkSDD Well, if the block was what made you wanna change in the first place then the Edge Pro isn't really the solution since the block isn't that much sturdier at all.
@FloydUpgrades Nice alu Kramer there. A good harem all around, actually.
One thing i notice was off. The edge 3 is actually supposed to be at an angle rather than parallel to the body. It's a bit diff from other tremelos.

I'm drunk and you're bald. Your move, tremolo man.

@dmohr7 If it's the Edge Zero, it won't work.

Mine arrived this morning. Fitted and tested. Definitely a huge improvement over the scrawny stock Ibanez block.

will there ever be upgrades for the zr bridge?

The video was 6:08 when my order process completed.
Saved me £150 over upgrading to the Edge Pro that I had planned on doing.

@vasilios1994 That sounds like a faulty unit. Mine returns to zero every single time, even after severe diving and all that crazy stuff.
