i really dont understand why they took so much time to air the episodes... i mean.. the show is not that big now because of that.. they cut it... then took like 3 months and air again.. comee on!! its very annoying!

There was a Writer's Strike going on. The writers couldn't finish writing the scripts for the eps that are coming out now, so they couldn't film them. Even after the strike ended, they still had to write the scripts, reassemble the cast and crew in Hawaii, film, and then produce each ep before they could be aired. I'm just glad they came back this season at all! Some shows didn't make it.

Pretty sure Scrubs was supposed to have it's series finale last season, but because of the Writers' Strike, the season never actually ended and the series was extended into another season. Not 100% sure which other ones there were, but I think they knew better than to cut us off from our Lost for a whole season! Anyhow, just had to defend one of my favorite shows! They originally wanted to go straight through the season with no break, but they had to cause of the strike.
