This fiasco of a bill has already had an effect my boss/owner. He let us now yesterday that while our premiums will not increase the level of coverage is decreasing. I work for a machine shop we are loseing our chiropractor allowance and our medicine cost is going up by 15% . If this junk legislation passes we are all screwed for the saving of nothing. I only hope that any senator or rep who votes yes for this s*&t will be voted out of office in 2010
Yes you are lucky you have Rep Crapo. I unfortunately have Durbin and Burris. Corruption, extremely liberal, and little transparency. Only Pelosi could be worse.
I would love to know why Congress and the President are hell-bent on spending a trillion dollars to basically do nothing. Charging fees and raising taxes doesn't lower cost, it simply shifts cost to the middle class. The poor don't pay anyways and they don't pay taxes, businesses and the rich just charge more, so in the end, who pays? The middle class.
