I played through Sonic CD the same way you did, but I only got You're too Cool! It did not say the greatest player. Maybe you do have to get all Metal Sonic Projectors, Badnick Generators AND Time Stones? That would make sense... Not to mention I played the Japanese Mega Cd version of the game. Do you have an explanation to this bpblu?

Well... I am playing the American Version. And no, I didn't get all the generators OR projectors, and I still got this. I always thought that the Greatest Player thingy was excluded if you got all Good Futures but not every Time Stone. I'll double check on this and get back to you... this is a really interesting thing.

You DID get all the generators. Once you get all the time stones, the level automatically destroys them for you. (Go to the past, and the only thing left would be the regular debris.) When I played, I did exactly as you did, as in all time stones and destroyable generators before the time stones destroyed them for you. I don't think the projectors have anything to do with t because you did not get rid of the one in Quartz Quadrant 1.(Could be Gems Collection Exclusive.)
