@justmymage the same way any circut board is made really. All on surface parts are machined soddered on while through put parts are put on my hand then ran through a machine that sodders them again. Then they get inspected and tested by people.

I drink tap water all of the time. Only an idiot would pay extra for bottled water (which is usually just extra filtered tap water). Besides, think of how long bottled water sits around before you get to drink it...absorbing all of the chemicals from the plastic bottles...yum.

I used to tap water straight from the ground. It never froze, ran dry, or changed color or taste. After eight years the water was exactly as crystal clear. Dasani water is garbage by comparison and city water is undrinkable. Nature is the best filter, if you are willing to give up the city.

And btw chlorine is volatile, so if you let the water sit for few days in a tank chlorine will evaporate. This is not necessary for humans, but for example is highly recommended for fishes which are much more sensitive to Cl.
