Haha, this is hilarious..my husky only does it when I'm not around. I haven't actually caught him in the act, but he leaves remnants of items I swear were on the countertops on the carpet!!
Ha, that's hysterical. Huskies are so good at counter-cruising, and persistent too! Whatever she's after is positioned JUST out of reach, must drive her crazy. But I was waiting for you to make a noise and let her know she'd been busted. Maybe I'm mean but that "oh crap, I been caught" look cracks me up.

lol, I had a Yellow Lab that would do the same thing.
Too bad I couldn't get a video of when she managed to get something off the top of the Fridge. :(
