Attention Yanks, do you actually know what the song is about? Its about a real War, not war that is just fabricated by you so you can stick your nose into countries across the globe, subsequently making you the most hated nation on the planet.
Its about irish civilians who were supposedly killed wrongly. If you didnt know most of us actually dont think we should be in a war, personally i dont think we should be its stupid you're right and we are hated but its not our fault our gov't throws us in there.

We aren't fighting for Iraq OR Afghanistan. Why the hell do you think we call it a WAR? Iraq doesn't want us in their country - whether we may be helping them or not. Our original intention was NOT to help the people of the country, but to try and drive out terrorism, which in itself only makes matters worse and makes US the terrorists instead. "Freeing the people" has nothing to do with it.

I lost faith in GWB as president when it surfaced that he basically deserted his national guard unit during the Vietnam War...I can say with pride I served my country and did not cut and run when it was time for me to go to war. The real war for America is withing her borders, which President Bush is trying to surrender to other countries while at the same time imposing a National ID which will destroy our freedoms as citizens.
