  • Nice review. Is this system worth getting. I found one at a local store for about 40 dollars. What if I have a Atari 7800 already. Also have all the other sega systems except for this and the GameGear.

  • Lol, i Don't know anyone who had a NES, but i know alot of people that had a Master system. I live in Slovakia.

  • I don't mean to sound like a butthole or nothing, and I got no problem with Christianity or any other religion, but I do find it interesting that you are wearing a Family Guy shirt since Family Guy pretty much makes fun of everything such as life, death, and religion, they cuss in the show ALOT (the DVDs are uncensored for the later seasons and does have the use of the F-word)...other than that, keep up the great work....great video on here and also enjoyed your in-depth Famicom review

  • hey bibleteen, i just want to say that u are awesome and that u need to keep doing what u do. and great morals, i cant stand cussing either, Exodus 20:7 says "you shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God" NIV. in my opinion, being a living example is one of the characteristics of being a Christian and if you go around cussing and your a claimed christian, then you're telling people that cussing is Christ-like which it isn't. so cussing IS misusing the name of Christ!

  • lol you dont liken cursing but yet you have a family guy shirt ahahahahah im Christian my self but never have or will read the bible nor do i go to church and i love Sega they kick ass

  • I made a shitty comment earlier, I was joking. Sorry if you were offended.

  • Good videos.

  • Awesome review bibleteen :).

  • You rock, literally - but that is all.

  • mine biggest miner complain about the masster system is ,it has noo pouse button on the controller like the nes dit(aka start button)instead you got to stand up and hit the pouse button on the console itself, and since the pouse button is placed next the reset button, you can be easely confused by accidentally hit the reset button, arch!!!!!!!

  • I wish you would not rock so much, and make a proper intro with edits and all that, I could help you make one if ya want, asside from that good video. Inbox me

  • FTW!!!. YouTube SERIOUSLY needs to moderate these crap-ass videos of idiots who know nothing about reviewing anything, and who just put a camera in front of them and ramble away. What a waste of bandwidth!

  • dd the turbo grafx 16 take the game card system from this

  • fuck shit bitch ass cunt sorry i have turrets

  • @GTarmbreaker hahahahhaahhahhahahahahah !!!!!!!1

  • @GTarmbreaker - I have turrets too, maybe some day I will have a whole castle.

  • @omenroc1 haha last time i heard that i fell of my dinosaur but no i did fall and a turret got stuck in my ass and i broke my back and now im a crip

  • That is a cool Family Guy T-shirt. I have never owned a Sega Master System. Might get one or download the SMS games off the Wii VC when i get a Wii. Anyway you could upload these old videos in better quality?

  • nes and mastersystem yes i have both at yes sega stand for services games back 1940 i perfer ms 2 smaller

  • For christian, you sound like your high. And what decade are you living in? Blood was everywhere then and it is now. And the shirt, yeah sure your christian. (thats sarcasim)

  • they are saying you sound like forest gump.

  • the bible is more bloody and violent than any mortal kombat game.

  • @thousandlegger i agree with that satement

  • @thousandlegger

have you even read the bible?

  • @Supertomiman most of it. have you?

  • @thousandlegger

most of it too, but it's not particularly bloody...

  • Cool video Bibleteeen...

  • my momma always said life was like a box o chocolates

  • The Expansion was originally used for the FM-Sound expansion for the Sega Mark III.

  • STAY STILLLLL!

  • you are freaky

  • you sound like forest gump

  • any one got a box of chocolates?

  • Get on with it!

  • are you religeous? bibleteen? because wearing a family guy tshirt would be very offensive to religeous groups!! as they do offend everyone and everything! just a thought

    good reveiw though

  • Really? I'm relligious and find no offense from it. But then again, I merely see it as humour and not something to get butthurt over.

  • @SakuraAvalon its a good way to see things...

  • You look like Todd Packer from The Office.

  • u talk too much

  • here in Brazil was very popular.

  • Didn't they come out with like 12 different versions of it over there?

  • According to wikipedia the SMS had a floppy disk designed for it but was never released. That's probably what the expansion port was for.

  • yep!

  • why the hell do you rock back and forth

  • JUST what I thought Haha thats hilarious.

Like he has what is it called,,, dont know.

But nice rewiev, I had one my self with over 13 games, it was realy nice at the time.

  • My sega master system has Hang On built in. I got also one or two card games, This console was popular here in Sweden.

  • i had tennis and ghost house in the card game.

  • Is this system worth getting even though the game gear is just a portable version.

  • this store is selling a master system for 40 $ with all hookups orginal control pad and lightgun cost extra they have 5 games for it the console is near mint condition should i buy it quickly

  • YES!!! GET IT!

  • ooo yea definitively where i live the nearest one is 25 miles and it costs 120 bucks with just one controller and a light gun and i would buy it if i could so FOR SURE buy it

  • I would say that's a fair deal. You might also consider just getting a Power Base converter if you've got a model one Genesis. I just picked up a Power Base Converter off craigslist for $15...just because I didn't have one..I'm still using my SMS though.

  • The model 2 master system has Alex KIdd built in.

  • most (if not all) model II SMS have sonic build in,

  • Mine had Alex Kidd built in.

  • well its possible that earlier versions of mark 2 had alex kidd built in, i have mark 1 so its alex kidd, but i remember all my friends having mark 2 with sonic.

  • i find on a world scale nintendo sold better but definately here in the UK master system and megadrive seems to sell better than nes and snes

  • Yeah.I find MD games everywhere, but I can't find super nintendo games anywhere.

  • According to wiki pedia the expansion port was going to be for a floppy disc drive. It was developed but was never released.

  • Talking about the NES it is funny here in Europe the SNES was a popular system and gave the Mega Drive(Genesis) a good run for its money. But the NES? I knew nobody who had one.

  • Sega selled better in Europe. The NES did poorly in Europe though.

I only saw one game that was card based and that was called Spy vs Spy. I don't think the card based games sold very well and they dropped that part of the system very quickly. When they remodeled the Master System the card slot was gone.

I have no idea what the expanison port was for either, I never had a Master System except as an add on for the Mega Drive(Genesis in the US).

  • By the way I always assumed the red bit with the writing on it was some kind of touch pad like game select and so forth.

  • I just got a Sega Master System off Ebay Good System! A+++

  • Ha ha me too, mine's on its way!

  • according to wiki, the slot on the back was a card slot

  • very through analysis of the system, hope to see more!

  • Howdy boy, how's Lieutenant Dan?

  • What are you talking about?

  • But Bibleteen, you aint go no legs

  • Okay...O_o

  • Lieutenant Dan is from forest gump i think he thinks you sound like forest gump

  • @Bibleteen

133MHzz is implying you sound like Forrest Gump I think. Don't worry about it.

  • @133MHzz lieutenant daaaaaan! roflmao

  • @133MHzz

Momma used to say Life is like a box of chocolates

  • @133MHzz LOL

  • yeah, you're right about the name. SEGA= Service Games. Funny thing is, SEGA was founded by three americans(Martin Bromely,Irving Bromberg and James Humpert) in 1940 in Honolulu, to provide some sort of arcade amusement for the american soldiers stationed there. Later, the company's HQ moved to Tokyo in 1951. I think it's a good thing to know.

    Regards from Romania :)

  • Actaully Sega was founded in 1951 by David Rosen a korean war solider who built sound activated arcade machines for soliders to play It was at first known as Rosen enterprises. In 1954 it was renamed Service Games(SEGA) and HQ in Osaka not Toyko. They will once again be a console maker.

  • Over here we always thought SEGA was an acronum for something. We used to come up with silly words for SEGA. One could be:-

    Sierra Electronic Gaming Association

  • Sega is short for "Service Games"

  • ce misto...credeam ca a fost fondata de japonezi :P

  • is that you johhhhhn waaaayne

  • you talk like john wayne. kick ass, partner!

  • Hi!

I approved your comment since it only had one obscene word in it. However, try not to use any obscene language the next time you post a comment on my videos or my channel.

I'm not trying to be mean, but my channel and my videos are Christian themed, and I don't like any comments with bad language in them. All of my comments have to be approved by me before they are posted on my videos or my channel.

Anyway, no one has ever told me that I talked like John Wayne. Thanks!

  • @Bibleteen The bible says ass and damn.. Why not? Im a christian but u dont see me runnin around throwing my religion in other peoples face. It never specificaly says don't cuss it says "dont use Gods name in vein." Read the bible please son.

  • @Bibleteen Howdy Parter

  • i remember their being like a haunted mansion game or something to do with bats it was for the game card slot

  • Hi!

The game was called Ghost House and it was released for the Sega Master System in 1986. It was released onto the game card format, then it was re-released onto the cartridge format. The reason why it was later available in the cartridge format was because of the release of the Sega Master System II, which didn't have a game card slot because of the small size of the system.

Anyway, it's one of my favorite games. I have the game, and I will review it in the near future.
