He leido gran parte de los comentarios de hace dos a la fecha; me referiré a los sobre A:Kraus y P:Domingo. Efectivamente a Domingo en muchas interpretaciones se le escucha linda voz,especialmente de joven pero en muchas desafina, toma mal las notas altas y en ellas le tirita la voz y tiene más fallas; el hecho que aún cante no significa que sea el mejor tenor.Kraus jamás desafinó, tenia una gran tecnica, por ello pudo cantar bién arias que no eran para su registro y a avanzada edad.

Kraus tiene una voz excepcional, pero estoy en parte de acuerdo con tena2, para eso existen las clasificaciones vocales, para saber qué enfoque debe tomar la voz. Esta interpretación es muy buena pero el papel es para un tenor con mas peso en la voz, un spinto como Giacomini o Domingo.

aqui vienen una serie de sperti del canto que me dejan boquiabierto.

amigos se canta con el corazon y, perdon, los cojones.

un gran interprete canta lo que le pongan.

las voces "clasificadas" para mi entender, no sirven.

dentro de cada cuerda tienes que poder con todo, como lo han hecho los grandes, si no, no eres de ley.

No estoy de acuerdo amigo mio, eso les pasa a muchos cantates, se atreven con todo y son expertos de nada, cantar mucho y de todo es facil pero la voz se resiente, a muchos casos de voces ya viejas y estropeadas a edades cortas.

this version sounds great and you can tell that kraus had dis voice very controlled and also that his high note were no problem for him.

En este video kraus en su estilo vuelve a dar en el clavo. Existen diferentes versiones , unas con más fuerza y otras con menos, depende del cantante, y sus cualidades vocales, asi pues, decir que no se puede objetivar más alla de un punto de vista teórico de la técina del canto, como yo no se de teoria dejo ese menester a otros que sepan más que yo.

Kraus no cantaba todo igual, justamente al contrario, por eso que cantaba con matices vocales distintos fue mundialmente afamada su depurada tecnia, mire usted como cantan lucia di lammermoor y como cantaba rigoletto o werther, or I puritanos etc, matices, intensidades, proyecciones muy distintas logradas por un señor que era master en matices vocales.

I like Kraus singing roles more suitable to his light voice(Rossini,Donizetti,Mozart­,even Bizet's Pearlfishers).But this aria needs a much bigger,stronger voice.This rendition is poor.Che brutto!

Kraus's lean, firm tenor, though not suited to this repetoire on stage, sounds fine for records -- he was a very intelligent singer, never going beyond his capacity in the theater, which accounts for his longevity -- a fine artist!

Good and relevant comments (not always the case). Kraus made a fine career understanding what he could excel at. Try Giacomini sings "Ch'ella mi creda" from Fanciulla del West (on Youtube).

You know, on the subject of that, the one where he sings i exceptionally with an orchstra isn't there anymore; it has been replaced by a lesser version (vocally) in recital. Plllleeease, who ever has the other, put it back where it belongs (where we can see it!). Thanks

I love the beautiful lyrical quality of Kraus...he sings it up a half step, hitting a high B instead of the written B flat, which is fine. For someone so lyrical though, it's too bad he couldn't learn the lyrics to the aria.

the worse version in the history: the things are not static, they are moving all the time, this is a version, the importance is that the song in general is right singed and the words are the correct, did you know that this tenor is knowed for his clear sounds, pronauncing the words, just have a look to the giacomini´s version and you´ll understand me.
