I saw him once in 1988 at RiverBend in Cincinnati and he is one of the few preformers who sound as good live as he does in the studio. That show totally blew me away! Also there was the bonus that (believe it or not) Eric Johnson was the opening act! What a night!

I am from Sacramento. Lodi is that town 25 miles south of us, between here and Stockton. Fortunately I've never been stuck there. Fogerty is one of the most underrated Irish/American artists ever to come out of Northern California. He looks pretty good for 60, which was his age in 2005 when he did this concert. I have this CD (Long Road Home) and it's fantastic, especially for a live performance. It's not Credence, but all the musicians are top notch. Good job John!

Where do you start? John is the most underated artist ever. If you have listened to this DVD you'll know why. Absolutely awesome, he can play an awesome guitar, he can sing, and he wrote pritty much all of the songs CCR had, except for the last album, which the band put together without John's assistance, and the rest is history.

Yes he is a legend, but there are many legends. Yes his guitar playing is still pristine, but that can stay with a musician for a long time too. What is incredible to me is how old he is and how pure and young his voice still is. What an amazing example of a human artist he is. Great genes! I am still in awe.
